I like belly buttons on women, so I can understand. Lucky for me I do not have to worry about the hairy and stinky part, well for the most part in dealing with women.

We used to have a talk show up here, Open Mike with Mike Bullard. Sometimes he would do this silly sketch of taking two seemingly different things and making a comic comparison. One time, his comparison was Shania Twain vs. a Sumo wrestler: both have trouble finding shirts that cover their bellies. I laughed so hard I didn't catch the rest of his monologue.

If I had a stomach like Shania Twain, I probably wouldn't wear a full shirt either... Isn't she like 40 now?

In thinking about the 80's, and the number one influence for me at that time was truly the hair bands, number one was Bon Jovi LOL I actually have been trying to find some of my old tapes just to hear the old songs. I think it was the album New Jersey that I listened too not stop while playing Super Mario Bros. That and Skid Row! Now I wish they kept going!

Despite the fact that I was born in the early 80's, I remember Super Mario Bros. and Skid Row. It's kind of weird/creepy that I remember Skid Row, seeing as how I would have still been in the single digits, and Skid Row was not really considered very family-friendly.

Ah I used to listen to King Diamond as a child and I turned out ok LOL Skid Row was pretty tame, though it would depend on the household. They never really did anything as outlandish as many others did at that time.

True enough. I'll get back to the topic at hand and stop making cheesy jokes before Wolfe gets after me.
As I have mentioned before, I wasn't really old enough to remember too much of the 80's, but I do seem to remember the painful things. Back in grade 3, most of the kids in the class (for reasons that are beyond me) were into New Kids on the Block. It's sad looking back and realizing how foolish you were before.

I was young in the 80s as well, since I was born in 80 and all, but I do remember kids liking them as well. I never did, but then again I never really got into any music until the early 90s. For me instead of getting into the crappy music like that I like the cool things in life such as slap bracelets and super soaker 50s and 100s.

Slap bracelets were genius. Clasping the back? Making it stretch around your wrist? WAY too much work, must just slap it on yourself instead.
