That's actually more what I thought of when I read her idea. It's a great idea, too. Have any of these ideas come up on the Official Forum, I wonder? Am sure some probably have.

Some have like new characters, although I have not seen the gargoyle one, but I also dont look in the new character thread, I try to read ones that look like they might have info on the game. If we wanted we could always just combine all our ideas into one post and post it there and then hope that Mirko comes along to say in a subtle way if anything was put in.

Hmmm... Would be interesting to see if Mirko had something to say about our ideas wouldn't it?

That is a really good idea Florimel, instead of taking shortcuts by jumping or flying you could just swim in the rivers. Plus then they could do a character specific quest in one of the caves at the end of the rivers that you can't get into normally cause the river flows into it. -+-Win32##Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.2##1152 × 864##1-+-

well i thought of another thing that i'd REALLY like to see changed in S2 earlier today... (MAN Spring Break is GREAT! lol) anyways, i'd like to see them fix the shoulder armor (especially on the Dark Elf and Daemon chars.) so that one shoulder isn't always swinging around like mad all of the time... anyone else know what i'm talking about? and another not-so-annoying aspect i'd like altered regarding the armor, would be for them to be slightly better mapped in such a way that all combinations of armor pieces fit together nicer... for example: so that the cuirass doesn't cover up the belt... or the best example would be so that the wood elf's Xrystal set's cuirass which is made to look like her bare stomache with some feathery sports bra type thing going on... (when worn with a belt) looks really stupid because it looks like the belt is coming out from inside her stomache...

Your wanting the armor to look better sounds like something I posted on the offical forums about just making it so armor is customizable, but only for look. So like you can go to a blacksmith and alter the color of it, but not things like it stats or add in new sockets since that could lead to unbalanced items. There are many items that I really like in the game but they just dont look right together. With the Thorwyn set for the vamp anything I put with it that is not part of the set looks odd, and I like to use different helms since the Thorwyn does not have any sockets on it. But if I could go to a smith or somebody and change the color to match the red, or maybe make the set jet black so I can hide in shadowy corners would be fun. I think that would be the only way items would fit together visually since there are so many combinations there is always going to be some items that look off when worn with others, unless they change each item to fit with each other item, but that would take forever for them to do.

yeah, that's sorta what i'm talking about... but has anyone else noticed (mainly/especially with the Dark Elf and Daemon chars.) that some of their shoulder guards have one shoulder that appears to be just hovering over their shoulder and moving back and forth (in their standing still-yet swaying animation) much more than that of the guard on their other shoulder? ...am i even making sense??? -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-

last night i thought of a new possible char. class... how about a Druid? and they could give him/her (due to *hopeful* gender selection...) the ability to summon multiple familiars just like the vamp. only they would obviously have to be different than those of the vamp.'s ... like maybe a bird of prey of some sort... that'd be REALLY cool... and actually they really wouldn't even need to make a whole new char. to do that... they could adjust the Wood Elf char so that it too can summon multiple familiars, and one of which would be a bird of prey... perhaps an owl would be kinda neat... or a peregrin falcon... (i just added that one in there because i think their the friggin coolest birds because in a full-out dive they can go up to 140mph... suh-WEET! lol... again, i am indeed a speed freak... ) another possible type of familiar would be something along the lines of a tiger... (somewhat similar to the Night Elves of WarCraft3/World of Warcraft...) -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-

Florimel did you mean to respond to the quote? Yes, I did mean to respond and thought I had, but I think I previewed it and then clicked the Post Reply button, not realizing that my response wasn't there anymore. Put it down to another of my blonde moments. Sorry about that. I love being able to have a swimming character to explore travel the rivers underwater locations as in Morrowing. I did notice some of the places where you couldn't reach the caves because of location on the water. Must be the Pisces in me. -+-Win32##Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.2##1152 × 864##1-+-

Maybe another longshot would be gestures or facial expressions. Like a frown after a hit or a thumbs up after a quest complete or a winning pose after a boss fight all under your command should you choose your characters to be more "human". i think since it's going to be in true 3D, perhaps they could make it so that what is now the intermediate field-of-view zoom level would become the new farthest-out F-O-V zoom level... and in addition adjust the baddies vision range accordingly... you know what i mean? i think that way it would not only possibly help with the speed of the gameplay, but you could also actually notice things like DEON's smiles and whatnot... and similarly they could make it so that the FOV can be turned in relation to your char. so that you could see the real 3D buildings at a different angle, etc.

Okay Another thing that I think would be cool is instead of having one HUGE area with 100's of quests and then doing it over and over again per difficulty level I think they should split it up. Have like 50 quests per difficulty level so that you can always do new quests as you move up in the game and not just redo them all over and over. A big #thumbsup# #thumbsup# from me on this one. I like to experiment with characters so when I move up in difficulty I've probably been through most of the early areas many times. It's been a big annoyance to have to start over, rinse, and repeat continuously. -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##12-+-
