Personally, if I were looking to buy a digital copy of Sacred Gold, I'd grab it from GOG ( www.gog.com), which is $9.99 at the time of this post (and I believe has been for awhile). GOG does not require the user to install any extra programs to play a game, unlike Steam. But if you already use Steam -- or if you're simply not as particular as some people can be (like me ) -- that's a non-issue. I have made a few purchases through GOG and was quite happy with them. They try to provide you with just about everything that could of come in the original game box (within reason) including maps, instruction manuals, and other bonus content, and they also remove some nasty stuff like StarForce from older games so they don't muck up your computer. What I have heard -- and may well be incorrect -- Steam may have a tendency to sell half-broken games "as is" with little to no visibility that you're about to make a poor decision with your money. When I look at games on GOG I usually see user reviews highlighted that mention issues with games and if/how they can be remedied. Just my two cents.
