Split from: Internet+GamesI found an interesting MMORPG, Pirate King Online (theres also Tales of Pirates, which is the US version, but it rarely gets updated and is less reliable in general) I'm hooked. I've spent what is normally my Sacred time on this. It's about a 300mb download, so its not as long a dl as some online RPGs are. You get your pick of the usual swordsman/barbarian/archer/cleric/mage type of occupations, but you can also buy a boat and sail places. It's also possible to learn life skills to be able to harvest resoures and sell them (eg. woodcutting lets you cut down trees. the higher the level, the more types of trees you can chop. then you sell the wood) Or you can just run around bashing monsters and solving quests. All the characters look like pre-teen anime characters (except the big guy, he loos a bit more like Barret from Final Fantasy 7. Same build anyway.) Oh, and you can start your own pirate guild, with rankings and all (as well as normal guilds, I believe). I haven't gotten enough money to start a guild yet, so I don't know how that works. Anyways, I encourage everyone on the board to check it out. www.piratekingonline.com/I'm on the Anchor server and my char at the moment is a Phylis cleric named TaliaLiadon(you don't get to see account names, only chars, AFAIK)

could be fun, but I dont need a new game to start right now, have plans to play co-op though the NWN2 campaign here soon with Ari, which will also be a time for me to teach her to play the D&D games. Maybe when I am done with that again I can look more into this since I love pirates.
