Well Monty Python is always really funny. Other than that I'd have to go through and look at old recordings and favorites in my bookmarks folder to find any more British comedy...

Faulty Towers is the only series I have watched. I have seen other ones and did not care for them. Wolfe and I are the only people in the world who do not like Monty Python. Um, I saw a slightly older pirate movie called Yellow Beard which was funny too.

oh One I think you might like is Red Dwarf, I only caught it a few times before it disappeared into obscurity. Its kinda a british spoof on Star Trek kinda. I hope to find it again someday.

One of my friends here loves it so I have heard of it. I think I watched one episode he had me download since it also involved Spam, dont really remember it though. Someday I will probably watch more of it though since it is sci-fi and all.

I LOVED Red Dwarf. I was hooked after the first episode I ever watched (which I believe was series 1, episode 5 - Confidence and Paranoia). I even have some of the books (and other books from Rob Grant, too; he's likely to end up as the next Douglas Adams) I can't really pick a favorite episode, but one of the best shows was when Rimmer had gone mad and locked everyone in quarantine. I thought it was hilarious. I don't see it much these days, since it is not rerun on a station I get, so I have to download episodes. I thought about trying to buy the DVDs, but the only one I could find was a package of series 5 + 6 together for $57. I was tempted, but that's highway robbery for what you get on the discs. IMDB quotes for those interested www.imdb.com/title/tt0094535/quotes

If you have fast net you should just download the episodes yourself. Wolfe has a site you can watch videos on, and I use a file sharing program to download tv shows from a website that has the links for them.

That's basically what I do. It's just a matter of finding copies that are decent quality. Some of the videos are clearly ripped from well-used VHS tapes.
But I normally find torrents for this stuff. Except recently my port-forwarding setup doesn't work for torrents anymore. (and before anyone tries to give me advice on how to fix it, rest assured I've tried pretty much every conventional fix) I've also tried finding it on MegaUpload/RapidShare/etc. to no avail
So my only UK comedy exposure right now is reruns of Father Ted on PBS.
bTW, I avg about 250-350k per second, so my only speed problem is having to wait more than 5 minutes for files bigger than 400MB

I use eMule to get shows and I did a search in the program for the show and found 300, which is the max results it will give per search and then the site I use has seasons 1-8 in dvd rip links, not sure if that is all of them though.

I have heard of it, although I do not think I have seen it before.
eMule depends on a bunch of things. It can be fast if you download a file that has a bunch of people sharing it. The program will download certain parts from certain people, so you could be getting the file from like 50 sources and each one giving a piece at only 3k a sec would be 150k a sec, or you can have a file that is more rare and only get it at 3k a sec or less from one person. I have the program on all the time and download things pretty much constantly so when I goto sleep and wake up a few things are typically done. Lets say though you wanted to get an entire series of a tv show that has 100 episodes in all, then you would likely have 25 or so of them within 1-2 days, another 50 by 5 days and the last 25 probably by the end of the week, maybe more if its not to popular of a show. Anyway the program is about 3.5 megs to download if that is what you meant by upload, or if you want to know how much bandwidth it uses to upload then you can change that, like for me I have upload set to 15k/sec and download at 500k/sec. My upload is usually maxed out and I have only rarely gotten my total download speed above 300k/sec.
