Just wondering if anybody else here has seen the Eureka show on sci-fi? Both me and my wife love it and I think people on here would as well. Its of course a sci-fi kind of show, but its plausable since its not something like star trek or anything. It is just about a town on Earth that all the smartest people in the world are at and they develop all kinds of weird devices. It is pretty funny as well.

I love Eureka! It's a great show. Watching the poor "normal" sheriff dealing with all of the geniuses and weird stuff going on is great. It's a fun show.

Ahh man, why can't they have something like that on reg. tv. all we get are 7-9 & 13 on good days. I am sooooo sick of "reality" tv. or cop/csi shows

Yes, the reality shows do tend to dominate the normal channels. But there is still plenty of CSI/cop shows on the cable channels. I got mad at Spike on monday for not having my normal 5 hours of Star Trek on and instead doing a CSI marathon. They tend to do that on all holidays, so it kind of sucks that I have to find other things on tv.

Don't ya hate when they do that, Area? I have to say that I had to hunt for something to watch, too. Am not a CSI, cop, reality show fan.
Oh, BTW, when did wrestling become sci-fi? #baffled#

haha, I was wondering that the other day. I saw a commercial for it and got confused. Maybe they are trying to attract a new crowd of people to the scifi channel.

Hello.
I tried watching Eureka, but I couldn't make it more than about 40 minutes before I turned it off. I'm sorry if saying so hurts anybody's feelings who is a fan of the show. I'm not saying it's bad, just that it fell short of watchable for me.
I guess my problem with so many shows on SCI-FI is this: They're not Battlestar Galactica.
I know there has to be lots of people who watch shows like StargateSXPLMwhatever-the-heck-it-is, otherwise why would such a mediocre show not only be bought from the Showtime channel, but extended ad nauseum AND spawn an equally trite spin-off(I'm afraid if I write and complain, they'll make a THIRD version).
If SCI-FI wanted to spend some money productively, they should buy the rights to(and bring back) Firefly.

We all have a right to our opinions. You're not hurting my feelings any. Personally, I loved Firefly but I can't stand Battlestar Galactica. The world would be a dull place if everyone was the same!
