So what all have you all been watching lately? I have seen a few movies myself, just never got around to writing about them. I saw the Transformers movie, three times, which means I love that one. I never watched the show as a kid, but the movie is awesome. Then I saw the latest Harry Potter, it confused me since I have not read any of the books or seen any of the movies before, but it was still pretty fun, even if its not my style of fantasy. Then I saw that one movie, something like 1301 and it was interesting and weird.

I think that was room movie? With John Cusack in it?
Anyway, I watched transformers since I was 8 so I kinda liked the movie though most people didn't. I watched Ratatouille which amused me as I have always liked watching 3d animation. I watched HP and the Order of the Phoenix but was disappointed in the flurry of details they left out from the book which just wasn't the same. I also watched Vacancy, to which at some point I thought was stupid and later realized it was a good short shocker film which was still a bit predictable...
hmmm... for home videos... I recently saw some Asian Martial Arts movies

I just cant afford to go out to the movies so Ive been watching either new ones on PPV or the movie channels. Just saw Ghost Rider.. ahhhh Loved it! (Grew up with that comic.. was my absolute favorite since my dad had a Harley at the time, so I always imagined it being the flaming one Another Nickolas Cage film Wicker Man which was just awesome as well (Never saw the first one, so have nothing to compare it to) Mirrormask which was just bizzare and I really have no clue what it was about.. so I have to see that one again. A Prairie Home Companion, brought me back to my childhood of my mom listening to it and growing up with it.

I liked Ghost Rider as well, probably my second or third favorite of the comic book movies, behind the X-Men ones and maybe Punnisher. I saw The Simpsons movie last night finally since I was unable to go before that. It was good though, started out really funny, then got more deep towards the middle and end. I do have to say though that I can not get the Spider Pig song out of my head now, maybe it has something to do with me downloading the mp3 of it and listening to it constantly.

Yeah I just about never go to the theater... Harry Potter was the first I saw in a theater since the LAST Harry Potter came out haha.
But since the hubby manages Blockbuster I get to see every new DVD release for free.... therefore we watch almost every movie that is released. There are so many that I can't even bring to mind what we watched most recently half the time. I think the last two though were 300 and Pathfinder. Both were really great though Pathfinder made me sad.... the whole loss of the American Indian culture and all that. 300 was freakin' amazing though!!! One of my favorites all year.... not that that is saying much since movies have gone really down hill lately for the most part but it was still amazing.
Ari even if you watch Mirrormask again it still won't make any sense haha. It was just one of those really bizarre artsy film that don't really have a point.
I agree with you all on Ghost Rider... I always loved that comic character and thought the movie was great... Alucard wasn't impressed though which somewhat ruined it for me hehe.
Lets see.... Wicker Man.... I watched the original quite a few years ago and the new one. Not sure why cause the genre is something I usually like but I didn't like either of them. I can't even explain why I don't like them, which again is strange for me cause I can usually go on and on with reasons why I dislike something... but yeah I just didn't like it. Also I was really pissed about the newest one because the trailers I saw for it made it look like he was seeing a ghost and so I thought it was going to be a really neat ghost story and the name was just coincidence. But nope it was just a remake... if I knew that I wouldn't have bothered watching it. That always pisses me off too.... when trailers are totally misleading as to what the movie is even about. I get showing some of the best scenes to make a mediocre movie appear better than it really is... but why make a movie look like something totally different than it is story wise?
Argh! Anyway.... thats my two cents hehe.

hahaha Its good to know about MirrorMask, Thank you! I really shouldn't play sacred and chat while trying to watch a confusing movie! Oh and I just love Nicholas Cage.. He could do anything and I would love the movie (Same with Robin Williams )
