This CG Animation movie is awesome. I lack the words to describe it but I highly recommend it. If you guys already watched it, then I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. If not then watch it you won't be disappointed. If you played the original FFVII game in 1996 for PS1 or PC then you will definitely want to watch this sequel (which unfortunately is in a form of a CG movie and not a game).
For a bried summary: As you guys who played it know that the Meteor that Sephiroth intended to collide with the planet was stopped by the Gaea of the Planet using the "Lifestream." Though armageddon was prevented and Sephiroth slained, the people of Midgar face a new evil with the Geostigma -- the Star Scar Syndrome which resulted in the lifestream within a person to reject the Jenova Cell/Sephiroth Strain that everybody was exposed to and eventually wearing down health -- and a brutal Gang after Jenova (the alien being from which Sephiroth was created from and apparently so was Cloud). It picks up where the game left off 2 years after the tragedy.

I saw it like a week before it was out in America. I love the original subtitled stuff over the dubbed. The movie is very well produced and I love some of the little things in it. Like the cell phone.
On another note, there is technically a sequel to FFVII called Dirge of Cerberus.

Yes the original was a bit better though I had a hard time during the first watch reading all those subtitles since my Japanese was not that good. Anyway I watched it atleast 3x now just to stop reading the subtitles and watch the whole thing LOL. Indeed the original subtitled version has much to offer. I think the Dubbed Version in American release doesn't have special features like compendium of the characters and reminiscent of FFVII etc... I heard about the Dirge of Cerberus but isn't Vincent Valentine the star there or.... I think.... which happens 7 years after FFVII and 5 years after Advent Children? I don't know if I am right Area ask for it or buy it. It's worth it in my opinion. If you want the lengthy version though the Japanese has less scenes cut although the English version can be enabled for extended version. I think it had something to do with the violence. -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-

I hate watching movies with subtitles, but if there is more in the subtitled one then I might not have a choice. Or if there is an extended like you say I can do that. Or I can always buy an english version from another country that is not cut in anyway much like the international Sacred.

Yes, Vincent is the main character of Dirge of Cerberus, I wasn't saying the game was really all that good, I was just saying there was a sequel.

Umm Blockbuster I am sure would have it... but you could also try Amazon.com if you want to own it, or EBay or Borders Books (I think they have those in GA don't they?) it was released here so you should be able to find it or order it from just about anywhere that sells movies including WalMart.

You can find almost any movie if you know how. There are a bunch of mIRC sites that let you find bots that have movies on them... it may not make sense the way I am explaining it, but I've downloaded 30 or more movies this way. Also, many torrent programs, or any other p2p programs should allow you to download movies. Keep in mind these are illegal and if you happen to get caught I didn't tell you anything.

I download movies all the time, although the ones I download are mostly horrible movies that are worse then B movies that you can not find a copy of any other way, such as the Star Wars Holiday Special. The program I use is called eMule if you are interested. It is simple to use which is why I like it since I am to lazy to do more complicated ways, and I also like it because I can get tv shows with it by visiting a site that has links for them, so I just click the link and it adds it to my downloads. Not sure if there is something similar for movies though.
