I do but I am somewhat particular in what I want to watch. A long time ago the sci-fi channel showed a few movies and they got me into it. They showed Iria, which is now my favorite, Armitage III, and Wicked City. I bought all of them. Then I started watching others and decided I like the ones with no plot in exchange for lots of blood such as Ninja Ressurection. I like some of the futuristic military ones like MD Geist. Also in the mid 90s there was a series called Ronin Warriors which I loved and they finally brought them all out on dvd so I got that. I havent got into the mech ones to much yet, but one series I liked, probably because it confused me was called Better Man. I know there are others I would like, but I only watch the shows or series if they have speaking english since if it is subtitles I just read most of the time and I miss what is going on.

Might try Elfen Leid, quite possibly the most awesome and well made anime series I have ever seen. It is highly violent in just the first few minutes and has some nudity, but nothing sexual. Bleach is also a pretty fun series, I have episodes 1-64 on my computer.

*drool* I want the FF7 movie. I was in Gamestop earlier today, and they were playing the japanese version on the TV... I wanted to just sit there and watch it, had subtitles.

Yeah, I have been holding off on getting a non english one for just that, I want to be able to relax when I watch it, not be busy reading and missing what is going on. But if they push it back again then I will probably get a non english one. Right now April 25th is sthe supposed release date.

Seen both Vampire Hunter D movies and liked them since I like vamps, saw the Princess one when it came out but did not care for it, and never heard of X, but I am not to big into anime and I am really picky on what I like.

Back in high school, there was an anime club, and someone I knew kept pressuring me to join. I didn't, on the grounds that I was trying to stay away from anime at the time. I ended up eventually watching some anime, an at this point I'm trying to figure out why I was trying to steer clear of it.
Some of my first anime were Vampire Hunter D (+Bloodlust) (I even have some of the books; no, they're not manga, they're text) Ghost in the Shell Dominion: Tank Police Galaxy Express 999 Perfect Blue Ninja Scroll
and I am still fond of these to this day (although with Perfect Blue I find that it's not quite as fun after the first time; once you know the answer, it sort of spoils enjoyment of the puzzle).
When I was younger, I used to watch Transformers, Go-Bots, Thundercats, He-Man, etc. all the time. It never occurred to me that a lot of this stuff was Japanese. Now that I'm older, I find I watch different anime. My more recent stuff
Guyver (the live action version was hilarious; like Power Rangers but without all the dubbing silliness) InuYasha (starting to get tired of this; it just keeps going on and on, in the same way DragonBall/Z/GT does, same basic plot over and over) Hellsing Star Ocean EX (my overall favorite)
I got into some Adult Swim stuff, too. I thought The Brak Show was hilarious (and was very upset when it was canceled). And, of course, I have to mention Family Guy and American Dad. What would life be without good old twisted, lewd, gross, clean, wholesome family fun?
