And also black holes. I watched a show a week or so ago that talked about all of these and how they are all interconnected.
To start off I will do black holes. We already have talked about them some so there is no need for details, but what we did not talk about, or atleast that I remember, is a theory on what happens to the matter and energy once it is crushed down to a singularity. The theory that I am going to use is that the singularites are ejected from the other side of the blackhole, probably in some other dimension. To do this there is a theory that a blackhole is one side of bascially a tunnel. On the other side is a white hole, and connecting these two holes is a worm hole. So "stuff" is sucked into a blackhole, travels through the worm hole and is ejected on the other side by the white hole.
Its an interesting idea and one that is actually talked about a little in an old sci-fi book I just read called The Black Hole. I love the movie so I figured I would read the book and this area in particular interested me. Before reading it I had heard of a theory that black holes will eventually suck up everything in space. This was talked about in the book as a cycle. All things will eventually be sucked up, but by one giant blackhole. Then everything is ejected out the white hole in a similar fashion to the big bang theory. Then in time everything is sucked up again, and then ejected, and so on for eternity.
So now with those ideas in mind I bring us to earth, where the show proposed that a black hole, or something similar exists here. Most of us know about the Bermuda triangle, but less of us, or I would assume so, know of the Dragons Triangle. This is another area that has the same peculiarities as the Bermuda Triangle, but exists on the other side of the earth. In fact it exists in a relativly straight line from the Bermuda triangle, roughly to the south east of the coast of Japan. What is interesting about this triangle is that in it exists the Mariana trench, which is of course the deepest known point in the oceans.
So now you should probably be putting the pieces together. On one end we have the possible blackhole of the Dragons Triangle with the Mariana Trench being the center of it where stuff is getting pulled in. Obviously there is not a literal blackhole there, and while the gravitational properties of a blackhole are not expressed there, the magnetic disturbances are. So it is not a blackhole in the literal sense, but something similar.
On the other end is the Bermuda Triangle and here there are areas where new matter is being ejected. I wish I could remember what the areas were called where things were being ejected, but I can not remember. They are similar though to volcanoes.
So there you have it. An interesting idea on how something similar to a blackhole and its partnered whitehole could exist here on earth.

I could not find a good image of the location of the Dragons Triangle and this image does not look right if you are unfamiliar with thinking of a 2d map in 3d terms since many aspects are changed (I am not either and looked at my globe), but this is the best one I could find which is the second image down (they call it by the nickname of Devils Triangle on the image).
