There are millions of them out there and I figure we could talk about some of the ones here, although each should get its own thread to keep confusion levels down. But first in here I think it would be a good idea to list ones that you enjoy that you all would like to talk about and hopefully people who do not like them will post as well since they bring up points that need to be researched to find out if they are valid or not.
Currently I am spending a lot of time on the idea of thermite or some other kind of explosive being used to take down the WTC on 9/11. I have been doing a paper for it in school.

One that I thought amusing that I heard years ago was that JFK was killed because he was going public with our government involvement with aliens.

Sounds interesting. See if you can find info on it. I have never heard of that one before so you get to be the expert.

Some of these 9/11 conspericies tick me off. the idea that someones first thought at seeing those planes crash into the towers is "it must be our government" sickens me. you see reports of these people who say that Bush paid iranian militants to fly into the towers, that there were bombs in the towers, planted by the government, that the government knew about the attacks and told the local officals and national guard not the evacuate. how some people can have such distain for their own country is beyond me. You get these people spouting off this hate speech on Bush, and the war, and all that stuff. I have an idea, try spouting off that trash in countries like North Korea, or Iran, or Afganistan? see how long you are alive. all this talk that Bush is the devil and hes only in it for the oil is garbage. Have some pride in your nation, or as my Native American friend says "love it, or give it back".

Hey Whiplash. Seems someone struck a nerve.... This nation is being intentionally torn apart for many different personal agendas. Got a quick question for you or anyone concerning the towers: What are the chances of ONE BUILDING falling directly down upon itself ?? The answer is ABSOLUTELY ZERO. Any person with just a bit of architectural knowledge knows this. As structures are inherently built piece by piece they also come apart that way. Localized damage to a part causes a natural tortion twisting effect that holds sway in nature and man made objects. In short if you damage something in one location and then put weight on it the weak parts gives and the rest twists to align with the new distribution (or lack thereof) the weight. Test it out for yourself with a piece of plastic to represent a steel beam. Or easier yet take any type of damage to your knee and see where you end up. Based upon these simple observations and the fact that the buildings were not even hit in the same areas you are left with one answer - Someone took down BOTH the towers in a controlled way. There is a conspiracy there if only to hide the technologies utilized.....

While the idea of the controlled demoltion theory interests me, I do not like the idea of the government knowing about it, doing it themselves, etc. I also do not like people who bash on Bush, the war and everything either, but the reason I like the demoltion theory so much is that there is simply to much evidence to support it, or atleast to me there is. With many conspiracy theories, although I dont like even calling it a conspiracy theory since it invokes thoughts of tin foil hats (which are fun by the way), but anyway back on track most theories do not have much evidence to support them. With the demoltion theory there are many things. I just did my paper for school on it so a bunch of stuff is still fresh in my brain. Some of the main points deal with the temperatures, like how long fires were able to burn in the rubble piles even after months had gone by, and the firefighters had been trying to put them out the entire time. Offical stances say that temperatures could not have exceeded 2000 degrees, and yet there are reports of molten steel being found, and images of melted beams, and steel has a melting point of 2800 degrees. Another important thing is that the towers were designed by the engineers to withstand the impact of a Boeing 707, which is similar in size to the 767s that hit the towers. There is also a lesser known building in the complex that collapsed after the towers fell and its collapse is odd since it had little damage. The rubble from that building was also removed under the same excuse of the looking for survivors reasoning for the twin towers. I am not saying that that was a bad idea, but it was a waste of resources because the other building had been evacuated for hours, so there would have been no survivors, so it seems odd that the rubble would need to be removed from there. Even after the rubble was removed most of it was quickly sold to other countires, so it is likely that nothing can ever be proved. Anyway though I can go on, but I do not want to make a super long post.
