I believe in there being life out there, I do not know if they would be intelligent, or just a simple bacteria. If all my ideas on infinite space are true then there would have to be aliens out there somewhere. I would like to know anything the worlds governments know about aliens as well, even though the things they could know could be bad like a alien invasion.

Would like to know what the governments know also. What does infinite space have to do with aliens? Besides, how can any intelligent human believe this is the only planet with life in the vast universe? Hopefully, we're not the most advanced or intelligent either.

I was just saying that if our ideas on space being infinite are true then there would have to be aliens out there somewhere. If it is not then there is the possibility that we are alone. But that would only be if the universe we are in in very small. But since we keep advancing in technology and seeing farther and farther with no end in sight it becomes increasingly difficult to believe we are alone.

I saw a special on the Discovery Channel once.... it was making a connection between the Egyptian pyramids and mars. Apparently they have found exact duplicates of the pyramids and the sphinx on the surface of mars. That would explain why we STILL can't figure out how the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids... it probably wasn't us who built them. I definitely believe that with space being so vast that their is no possibility of us being the only intelligent life forms, there has to be someone or something else out there. #happy#

Read somewhere that there is also a correlation between the placement of the pyramids and Orion's belt. Seems unlikely that the Egyptians of the day could have known about Orion's belt. Also read that the Egyptian civilization was was started by refugees from Atlantis. If so, and Atlantis truly existed, their technology was supposed to be highly advanced. Atlanteans were supposed to have been advanced technologically and the Lemurians spiritually. Who knows?

Ha, yeah, I was going to say that the Atlantians were supposed to have something to do with Egypt. And the whole proposed room under the Sphinx having their secrets. I remember hearing about the Orions Belt and the pyramids too. One thing I recently read about is a map of Earth that has detail to it that we can only do today, and even then we use like sattelites. Also the areas shown show like Antartica when there was no ice. The map writer got his info from maps far older. So maybe this was done by the Atlantians, and if they could do that then I am sure they could find thing in the stars. Here is the link to the map I was talking about. www.world-mysteries.com/sar_1.htm

Wow! I need to do some research on some things! Didn't know about this map. I guess it's possible that the info could have come from the Atlanteans. Although, I have read that our current civilization is only the most recent on this planet. We have still to discover that there have been several others. Have even read that the dinosaurs were supposed to have sentient. What a thought that is!

Yeah I had never heard of the map before I read that article there a few weeks ago. Do you remember where you heard about the dinosaurs?

Will see if I can find where I read about that about the dinosaurs. Anyway, there used to be numerous sightings of ufo's and such around here. Have witnessed a couple myself. My parents drove very close to one that was hanging just over some power lines at a highway intersection just outside of town once. Was back in the 60's. They said it was so bright that they could see the flashing lights for miles. They stopped to look at it until it just took off straight up into the sky. It was something like 2 or 3 am so there weren't too many people around, but a couple of other cars stopped too. Dad used to do lots of research on them because of this incident and other things that were happening here. They won't talk about it much, though. Is kind of interesting to note that most of the sightings stopped once the minute man missiles were removed from this area. Anyway, there used to be a lot of burned circles in farmers' fields and people were seeing strange lights in the sky...a lot of different things. I was driving to work one morning when a large round object appeared beside the sun and just stayed stationary in the sky. After a few seconds, two smaller objects moved away from it and hung in the sky beside it. After a few seconds, the two smaller objects took off at an incredible speed in opposite directions and the large one went straight up. I suppose that they could have been a different shape than round and the sun reflecting off of them made them look that way. Don't think airplanes or anything could move that fast or hover that way, but who knows. Maybe it was one of Tesla's craft! #crazylaugh#

There has to be life out there because if you think about,Our life could be very random,I mean out of the hundreds of billions of galaxies, what is the chance that only 1 of the trillions of planets happened to be close enough to a heat/light source capable of sustaining life?Chances are that these mythological creatures i read you talking about could be like that on a different planet just because they would have to adapt to survive. It is very, very probable that there is life out there.

What you seem to be talking about goes along with my favorite idea of space being infinite. If it was there would be so many planets out there, not trillions like you said, but infinite so there would have to be life somewhere out there. I just hope something happens in my lifetime to prove their existance.

Well, bob, I don't think it matters whether you are only 12 or 90. I agree with you. It makes no sense to me that out of all of the infinite number of planets and in this vast universe that this would be the only planet with life. You could also be right about some of the mythological beasts. In fact, I know some people who believe that some of the Gods, Goddesses and beasts were actually aliens. Some say they can actually prove it. Am not sure I believe it myself, but I know some who do. #dragon#

I agree there is no way we are the only "intelligent" life in the Galaxy. That map to me proves it, along with many many other instances of ancient rock carvings or how about the ancient pictograms that can only be seen from a plane. I have never heard of the dinosaur theory though. I hope you can remember where you found it.
And Bob, I personally am extremely proud of you that at age 12 you are able to think this freely and intelligently.

I just did an essay on aliens for school since we had to argue on something and I found out one interesting thing I did not know along the way. Apparantly in China a cave painting was discovered that is about 47000 years old that depicts a ufo. The interesting thing about it is that the time of the painting predates modern man and goes into neanderthal times. So how could it be that a primitive mind could come up with something like that unless they actually saw it?

It would seem to me that they couldn't depict something like that unless they had seen it. I rather doubt they had that kind of imagination at the time. Have always wondered about those pictograms too. How could they possibly have done that from the ground? Heard one theory that they built kites out of wood with a basket to hold someone. That one doesn't make sense to me. -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-
