Wow I can't wait to see what kind of bee's nest that stirs up! I also wonder if space it's self doesn't just absorb the shadows, or once the sorce of the microwaves is gone perhaps the shadows fade as the half life of the x-ray fade. Maybe what once was a spot light is now just a candle?

Raises some interesting questions, doesn't it? Some may have to change their views about the nature of the universe. Will try to keep a watch on it to see what it stirs up.

Well I am sure churches will want to use this then to enhance their stance. I am confused on the article though since I am not sure exactly what they are claiming to not see and even if it is not there then how do we know that it should be after the nearly 14 billion years since the big bang is expected to have happened? That is such a long period of time I would think that plenty of stars, planets, etc would have existed and been sucked into black holes, if they do exist and all.

I always get a kick out of Religion, they say science is basically evil and wrong, yet every chance they get to use it to "prove" God exists they jump right on the band wagon. #roflmao#

My thoughts exactly, Lindalou. Besides, if there is such a thing as a "creator" who is to say how the creating is accomplished? Does it really matter?
Good point, Area. It is confusing... will see if I can find more info on the subject and clarify it some.

Hal, Exactly! unless of course there really is a creator and he/they what ever do wish to be worshipped in some way and by not doing it we truely are damning ourselves. Somehow I don't see how a true creator could wipe out everything they created or perhaps it would be like us using an eraser and starting over or tweaking it, which I always kind of thought of evolution as.

Agreed, Lindalou. I also don't understand why a creator would "need" anything from it's creations, especially worship! Makes no sense to me at all.
I have read theories that say that there have actually been several human civilizations that have been wiped out and started over for different reasons. They say that if we could dig deep enough into the earth we would find evidence of this. Hmmm, reaching again? Sounds plausible though if you think about the age of the earth in relation to the age of our current civilization.

I always thought of religions as evolving with us. Back in the so called primitive ancient times there was many gods and then when something gets explained by science the god that was in charge of that kind of goes away, so now we kind of have all things left unexplained in one god. I have never heard the idea of their being older civilizations burried like that but its an interesting idea. A book I just read for the second time sort of deals with an idea like that. It is about how the inside of the Earth has a bunch of tunnels in it and there is a race of human like beings living in there that are found to be much older then the humans on the surface so it is expected they taught us how to read, write, etc. The problem though is that the beings down there called the Hadals in the book have become primitive and violent, so it is more like the actual physical Hell and people try to find their leader who is of course satan. I think its my second favorite book ever.

Sounds like an interesting book. Have heard about the tunnels before and the race living in them, but didn't remember what they were called. Do you suppose that Big Foot, Yeti, etc. could be some of them that made their way to the surface? I'm surprised that some conspiracy theorist hasn't come up with that one and said that the military or government is using these tunnels for some nefarious purpose. Amazing how many conspiracy theories there are. If I remember correctly, I read in another book that ancient Atlanteans and Lemurians used these tunnels also.

Well in the book the Hadals were not really monsters like big foot or anything, they were a variation of humans. Like when the people from the surface would go underground for long periods of time they would start to transform into what the Hadals were like, so they would start to get horns, be very sensitive to light, and gained strength. I do not know if the term Hadal was used in anything other then the book though. And in case I never gave the link to the conspiracy site I like, here.

Thanks for the conspiracy site. Sorry about starting on it, though. Was reading about a conspiracy theory about the MIB and some world-wide organization that people are getting confused with the Illuminati etc. etc. earlier so was still thinking about that.
Anyway, so these Hadal look like what people commonly think of demons and devils look like? Very interesting. Did they kind of de-evolve? If they taught humans to read and write and have a much older civilization, but are now primitive and violent, they must have. I suppose if they lived deep enough, it would kind of be like what some think of as hell wouldn't it? Interesting. What's the name of the book?

Yes they did de-evolve, although the satan in the story had not. The Hadals had this weird ability to transfer their being into another, so what he had been doing all along was to use a body till it was to frail and then used another. The book is called "The Descent" and it is written by Jeff Long. It came out in like 99 so it should be pretty easy to find on Amazon or similar places. I bought a used hard back of it on ebay a few months ago for like 8 bucks I think. I had been trying to remember the name of it for a long time but then the movie of the same name came out and something clicked in my brain that said look for that and it was what I was looking for, although I do not think the movie has any similarities to the book other then the name unfortunatly.
