Caught a special on Sci-Fi the other day about the Bermuda Triangle. Was interesting. They actually brought up the idea of Atlantean crystal power-plants creating a wormhole effect in the area. They were talking about the roads they found on the ocean floor, the fact that sometimes compasses don't work in the area, and had people seeing something they described as a wormhole or a kind of hole in space. AREA, seems like your wormhole theory may be correct. My Atlantean theory may be correct also. Of course, there is also the alien technology theory they brought up. Secret experiments on crashed UFO's, etc. Supposedly, there is a company with some kind of operation on an island in the area (if I remember correctly). Maybe all of the above? #thinking#

I like the crystal idea best I think. While they seem to be simple rocks they also seem to have some odd properties we do not know about. Like the Crystal Skulls that are sometimes found piss off the scientists who study them because they say how they should not be able to exist since they are relatively brittle and we can not make one with all our current technology without breaking them. It also seems like they get used in sci-fi a bunch as storage devices in Star Trek, or in the Superman movies, so there must be a bunch of people who think there is something more to them then we know. As for what they would do to the ocean if they were on the floor there I have no idea, but that is why we just need to do the simple thing of draining the ocean around the area and then walking around to see what we find.

Drain the ocean??? Hmmm... or maybe they could use whatever is used to hold back water when they build tunnels and bridges. Anyway, they use crystals alot on Star Trek and stuff because they are capable of holding and amplifying energy. Hence their use in radios, etc. Since thought is energy, they are also capable of holding knowledge. Their capacity to store and amplify enormous amounts of energy make them incredibly useful. It is feasable that they could be programmed for many uses. They have been used to store knowledge and for healing purposes for centuries. They can also be cleared and reprogrammed. If enormous crystals were used as power plants, the amount of energy they could release could very well cause a rip in space-time... if they were broken somehow, it's hard telling what kind of damage they could do. Kind of a scary thought actually. -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-

According to my nature-loving friend Jeremiah, there are very large waves, called rogue waves by the oceanographic community, which can reach heights of 150 feet. The cause is unknown, but they seem to occur more often in the area of the Bermuda Triangle, for whatever reason, and are powerful enough to capsize and even sink the largest of ships, and are high enough to down low-flying aircraft. Apparently, they happen suddenly, with no warning. The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle explained? Well, I hope not, as I love a bit of mystery, but it certainly is something to wonder about.

Maybe the rogue waves are caused by the broken crystals!

Or they can be caused by the people inside Earth since we are using that idea now as well. Maybe there is a large exhaust like vent under there and the escaping gases cause the large waves.

Well, as I said, I love mystery, but even I have limits to my gulibility.

Well thats ok if people do not want to buy into my theories that take seconds to come up with, but if you decide to post on the forum in areas other then the Sacred parts then you will be exposed to the random ideas that come out of some of our brains, although most will be completly, off, I guess you could say so they will be well known.

Hey! I like the idea of the exhaust vents! But then, I also like the huge broken crystals and the wormholes. As far as the people living inside the earth, I just can't understand why anyone would not believe that! Is it the map that cast doubts? Or is it the holes in top and bottom of the earth? Hey, maybe the intergalactic saucers taking off have something to do with the rogue waves.

When it comes down to our off the wall theories here we all need to remember Sir Arthur Conan Doyles quote of “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.". So all we must do is to prove things impossible that do not support our theories and people will have no choice but to believe.
