No no, guess you had not heard of this before. I dont really know the story much myself, and cant seem to find anything online about it, but it was basically some company that makes amps made a model that the volume knob went to 11. Well all the other companies only went to 10, so all the rockers who wanted loud music wanted the one that could goto 11, even though it was the same volume. The phrase of using 11 is used still, probably just by cult like things, but oh well.

Depends, the stick could be water logged, or it could be a small fresh one that it bendy. Fingers can be bad if you put spikes on your nails, and wood of course can be bad if its the trunk of a tree or a fire hardened dead branch. Based off that poor smilies expression I think that branch is one of the more painful kinds, it does look kind of large afterall.
