hhhhmmm, that would be a problem, maybe you could try a sort of midrange amount of light. My wife recently bought a Himalayan Salt Crystal. You put a light in it and then it lights the room, but not to much. The color of the one we have is orange and it is a more soothing amount of light. The crystals are also supposed to produce the negative ions which are supposed to help with sleep and also if you leave it on for long periods of time they make a sweet scent. I have not smelled this yet since we dont have it on all the time, so I dont know how true that might be.

Well Wolfe you are not alone, I too am afraid of the dark. I went thru the light thing also with my husband. So when he is not in the room I have a night light and turn the fan on. Which is really stupid when I think about it as I am now sleeping during the day but we have the windows blocked completely off so it is pitch black in our bedroom. They are right ahhhh the power of white noise. I have a fan on.

I use a fan for the white noise effect, too. It's amazing how many people I've talked to do. Since FMS makes one sensitive to every noise, light, sound, etc. (get this one) I also have a sleep mask and earplugs. If I don't get to sleep before my husband, who snores badly, I might as well forget it hence the earplugs and if the neighbo leaves a porch light on or when it starts getting light earlier (such as now) am also in trouble... hence the sleep mask. Tried music or one of those things that play like thunderstorms or something but the fan just works better. -+-Win32##Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0##1024 × 768##1-+-

sidelie the person to equalize the soft pallate reverberating (snore).... in a gravity dependent position (mouth open, pallate goes down) the noise would seem greater... if the reverberation persists (snoring) the cannal formation would be the contributing factor for the sound like a squarish funnel meant for laminar air flow (smooth flow).

uhh ok ok.... roll him sideways when he's snoring so that it will ease his breathing and lessen the noise... snoring is usually a small and harmless labor of breathing... don't worry nobody dies from it... but usually it either lessens or disappears when a person is sidelying because the airways are more ..err... ovalic?

i suggest possibly looking into those BreathRight Strips... when i used to live with my dad he would usually got to sleep on the couch in the basement and i'd be upstairs on the second floor and his snoring STILL kept me up... but those BreathRight Strips are LIFESAVERS!! so if all else fails you might want to give them a look...

Ohhh so THAT is what you meant...
Deon? Why do you always have to make my head hurt with your medical lingo?? What did I ever do to you to deserve THAT? LOL #joke#
Yeah I do that.... I found early on if I kick him in the shins he will roll over on his own, the trouble though is that he won't stay there for more than 5 minutes so then I spend the whole night being awake cause I have to keep kicking him to make him roll over..... wait...I know! I will just duct tape him to the bed that way!!

The tape might work although it might get expensive to do each night, maybe you can create a large vice and stick him in it so he will have nowhere to go? Or make him sleep in one of those old scuba suits from like the 50s.

i cant even believe she's bringing up me snoring....lol... ok i just snore to ge back at her for the following reasons 1) she takes up 90% of our queen size bed im left with the edge in which to balance myself on. 2) she tries to drown me with her excess drooling 3) then there is the infamous knee in the back 4) she has elbow dropped me in the *planters* for these reasons and these reasons alone she should be able to handle standing on a hammock while trying not to fall in to the tiger pit below while balancing two pints in each hand with out spilling the peanut butter. women -+-Win32##Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1##800 × 600##12-+-
