Well I hand raised Pounce since she was 3/4 weeks old, so she really thinks shes a dog anyway. She was very close to our old doggy who would nibble on her to the point she would have bare spots. It took her two years to cuddle up to Phantom. So this makes me very happy that they really do get along as long as the sun is down!

The only thing I could think of, and hope one day I can catch proof of, is my cat sleeping. He sleeps on either the top of the TV where I think he feels its warmth or the top of my PC monitor. When deep in his sleep, he tends to fall........ on the floor.... and... stays... asleep.

That sounds somewhat familiar. Sometimes I wake up suddenly in the middle of the night when I land on the floor. I'll look over and see that the cat is in my spot, looking pleased. I have no idea how he manages to roll me out of bed.

Those pandas are cute
I remembered a story about our dog Our dog is an English Bulldog, which means the frame of a bull or rhino and the energy of a Jack Russel combined in one dog.
This dog has spent a lot of time at the fence, socializing with the Lab next door. One day, our neighbor told us that our dog was in his yard (he's a nice guy, so he wasn't complaining, just letting us know so we could get her).
We were puzzled. Bulldogs are not very god at jumping, and she doesn't have the patience to dig for more than a minute at a time.
Well, we figured it out. What she did was to put her head at the base of the fence and push until the fence gave way (it's a chain-link fence) and then crawled under it. Next day, I'm out there with a handful of tent pegs and a hammer, re-securing the fence.

I have some funny pics of my Phantom as a puppy so thought Id toss them here! He is supposed to be an agility dog... Just look at the grace and style! He discovered how easy it was to get hung up on the rings of a stool, He did this at least a dozen times! Well the flight in from Tennessee was exhausting and that foot looked so darn comfy! I ... can't.... stop... plaaaayyy i nn ggg ...... *snore*

What a cutie!!!
Here's a story about a dog and a snake. Don't worry, the snake was not poisonous and the dog got out with nothing but maybe a few bruises.
My grandmother had a pointer pup on her farm. He was playing around out in the yard one day when he had the misfortune of stopping to stand right over a black snake that was sleeping in the sun. The snake struck him in the belly, the dog jumped straight up in the air with his legs sticking straight out and landed right back down in the same place. The snake struck again, back up in the air went the dog, back down, strike, back up... After this happened five or six times, the dog finally landed on top of the snake and scrambled away yelping while the snake went the other. The pup was fine, though traumatized for a little bit.
My uncle had a pony named Tico. We used to try to ride him bare back. I say try because some times he would let you and some times he wouldn't. It just depended on how ornery he felt that day. One day my cousin had the misfortune of trying to ride him on one of his ornery days. The pony simply backed up to a stickery cedar bush and sat down, dumping my cousin off in the middle of it. Tico thought that was very funny and stood there laughing at him. ;D

Hahaha Thats a riot!!!! That poor puppy! Pointers can be extremely goofy!
Sounds just like Phantom too!, Except when he sees new things, he freaks out and goes nuts, I have this fan on a stand here by my computer, Took him a while to get used to it just standing there, Well I turned it on and he ran around the house in a panic with his tail between his legs!
I always wanted a pony but with my luck, that would be the one I would get! LOL

Hahaha! Poor dog! My cats are spooked by anything out of place. My husband loves to lay a shoe in the floor, let one of them start to sneak up on it (especially Buddy) and then stomp his foot just to watch the poor thing jump straight up into the air.

My cat always seem heavy-bodied... I mean I did mention he falls off the TV or this PC monitor asleep.... and still remains sleeping on the floor or desk where he fell...
Anyway, it was poker night... we were having fun and tossing around some food... My cat picked up something with wine and liquor, one of the gourmets my french-american friend cooks. Then I saw him sipping the beer that spilled on his tray. I saw my cat wobbling after he finished a good bottle... encouraged by my other friends who saw my drunkard cat... anyway.... I sat on the couch and patted my lap. That's his signal to cuddle in. He felt so heavy that he jumped on the seat of the couch but was only able to hang half of his upper body... so there he was, drunk (I think) and hung on the couch.......... asleep.

Hahaha! Silly cat! Cats can do silly enough things without being drunk! Wolfe, of course no one caught those on tape! The funniest things that happened around our house never got on tape. I don't know how people do that! Could have won money with those though! LOL Some friends of my parents had a pony that my youngest brother and their youngest daughter decided to ride one evening. So they saddled it and both got on with my brother on front and the daughter behind hanging on to him for dear life. It was so cute watching them going bouncing off into the sunset... you couldn't tell where her ponytail ended and the real pony's tail began. So they were bouncing along when the saddle started slipping. They kind of just bounced and slid together down the pony's side and off onto the ground....
