Hey everyone, I wanted to know if there's some NPC shop that sells special equipment for Dwarf. With special equipment, I mean the complete Thodram Amfist set, the Goilomn Gilifson set or Rideg Stumel. I have only one part of each one of this sets and I can't find more. Right now I have the following parts: My question is, how can I complete any of this sets?

I'm relatively new to this game, but I have a Level 41 Battle Mage with Level 82 Trading skill that has done a lot of shopping (to put that skill to use of course!) and I have never seen a Set item sold in a store. That doesn't mean they can't be, of course; Night Wolfe should be able to provide a more definitive answer, and perhaps some ideas to help you next time she checks in.. The thought I can offer though, is if your Dwarf took or can take the Forge Lore skill you can craft items with +Chance to Find Magic Items; put that to good use and with a little luck you might find some of those set items you're looking for. Of those sets, my Battle Mage has so far found Thodran Amfist's Adornment of Cleaving (ring) and Rideg Stumel's Girdle of Repose (belt) on his own in Bronze with no magic find. I'm uncertain how effective Magic Find is in Sacred since I haven't used it yet, but Night Wolfe is very knowledgeable about the game and she tries to maximize it as much as possible, so it must be worth trying. I know of only one of those set items you can get somewhere with 100% certainty, but using this method is wholly up to your play style and tastes and what you deem to be fair: if you know how to trade items between characters, I know for sure you can get the helmet for Rideg's set from the Level 29 Dwarf included with the Underworld expansion when you first install the game. He starts off wearing it. I recently tried him out as I was curious about the Dwarf as second potential character to play. p.s. Your images don't seem to be working this time, so I can't see if you have the aforementioned helmet already or not. p.s.s. Good luck! I try to avoid getting attached to sets as I can never find all the darn items and it drives me bonkers.

You can't just buy set items at any shops... if memory serves I seem to remember someone who was playing with a character with really high trading found a set item ONCE in a shop. But it has never happened to me, so it is possible it was a glitch. Also we were playing in MP so it is also possible that someone else had just sold a set item to that merchant and it was coincidence. So basically you just have to hunt/quest a lot and keep your fingers crossed. There are a number of factors that can increase your chances of finding sets though. The biggest is magic find and survival bonus can help too. For more information and ideas you can read this guide: pctalk.info/Games/Sacred2/Wolfes.Lair/SacredUnderworld/Pages/GameBasics-RunesandItems.htmlHope that helps!

So basically, I should just go on doing quests and killing monsters until a set item drops. Oh, missed the fingers crossed part xD. Let's just hope something drops because I'm starting to face like 39483948298394 Sakkara demons at the same time in the valley of tears.

Sorry, but yep that is about it! If you are having a hard time with them it may be a good idea to go monster hunting in the desert and its caves. Both to hopefully get better gear but also to level up a bit

if you're playing single player... you sort of can cheat...
What I did for the hell of it... was put on all my magic find gear, drink an xp potion and quick save game just before i killed a dragon.
Kill and loot, if it's not what you're looking for quick restore... rinse repeat
Another thing that helps to get your survival bonus up is go across a river with no place to cross with a non range critter on the other side. arm a ranged weapon and go read "war and peace". When you come back your survival bonus will be in the 90's... important note (don't die)
