My level 38 Battle Mage found this Level 90 item in Bronze difficulty upon slaying the Medusa Guardian near the Element of Earth. Not wearing any sort of Magic Find. I don't recall ever finding anything up to this point with a level requirement so high that the item couldn't be used immediately. Minimum required level is 70. Going to be awhile! And what's the point of Life Steal 15% with Life Drain 15%? Just for visual effect? I'm not sure if I'll play far enough to ever use it, but it looks really nice. Attachments:

Very lucky actually, that is an item that I very rarely ever saw and I am not sure if I ever even found one myself even though I make it a point to have magic find as high as I can get it.
I looove that item for it's total uniqueness, but can honestly say I never really bothered to equip it. You are quite right, it goes for the visual effect and cancels each other out. My favorite battle mage 'weapon' is the Book of Wisdom.

Figures. I find all these sweet set items for other classes, then the one near thing I finally find for a Battle Mage is so high above my level I'll probably never use it.
I had no idea he had unique weapons like this. That's really neat. A book you say? I always imagined having a game like this where a mage held a book in their hands. Too bad I'll probably never see it!

Oh yes you will if complete the correct quest, if you have the Underworld expansion, which knowing you you'll get if you don't already have it. The stat bonuses are higher or lower depending on character/item level and game level (bronze, silver, gold) of course but here is my example image from the website: SPOILER: this is the link to the quest tutorial if you want to make sure you don't miss it: pctalk.info/Games/Sacred2/Wolfes.Lair/SacredUnderworld/Pages/SeriesQuests-TrueFighter1.htmlAt the very least I would suggest reading the the "Getting 6 Skill Points & 6 Attribute Points" guide which is at the bottom of the guide for the last part of the series 'The Book of Wisdom'. That way you know how to get the best bonus at the end if you can pull it off. Plus I am so very proud of Deonhower for figuring this part out, I NEVER would have. Very tricky on the creators part I never even noticed the difference in bonus points let alone what specifically effected them.

That is a neat item (though I realize the bonuses are only that high because it looks like a Platinum/Niobium level drop), I didn't realize the Voodoo Doll was a weapon at first. It's so small it looked like jewelry or a socketable item. Thanks for the tips... I like to try to find everything on my own, but when there is stuff you can miss/ruin I prefer to know that in advance. Some people might consider it a spoiler, but in this type of circumstance I find my game spoiled if I have to restart the game or make a new character JUST to see some specific little part or detail. That's not fun. That series of quests looks like something that might be easy to miss. Appreciate the spoiler warning though, very considerate of you.
