I do so enjoy good music. Fortunately, games have music, and some of them have great music! I thought it might be worthwhile to list some games with particularly good or memorable soundtracks... but my taste in music is as eclectic as my diverse taste in games. In no particular order, and some favorites marked with a plus sign: - Age of Empires I & II
- +Age of Wonders II & SM
- Baldur's Gate
- +Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I (Jeremy Soule I) & II
- Dungeon Siege + Legends of Aranna (Jeremy Soule again)
- Earthsiege II
- +Gladius
- Mafia
- +Morrowind (Jeremy Soule yet again)
- +Oblivion (Jeremy... okay, this guy did music for a lot of games!)
- Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
- Quest for Glory series
- +Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (JS again)
- Timesplitters 2 & FP
- +Titan Quest + Immortal Throne
- Unreal Tournament 2004
- +Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness
I hear Jeremy Soule did the music in Skyrim also, but I've yet to play it so I can admire his recent work. No doubt I've played some other games with music that I found particularly catchy, and have forgotten them.

To be honest I never really notice game soundtracks unless they are really, really annoying I've actually even played 3 of the games you've listed and I can't think of a single song from any of them.

Haha, I have a friend who always turns the music off in every game she plays. She says listening to music while she plays games drives her crazy. Conversely I have a friend who composes music and is quite interested in hearing the music in any game. There are a few games I will turn the music off in, but only a few. These are usually the games that have music just for the sake of having it, and it doesn't compliment or fit the game well. Like random rock music inserted while you're sneaking around a battlefield looking for a vantage point to snipe from. I do enjoy listening to music though and if it is good music, and especially if it adds to the game's atmosphere, I find it delightful. I can hear at least one, often many different songs clearly in my head from every game in that list. I usually have music playing in my head somewhere. It's like an internal jukebox I can't turn off.
