While I was escorting Wilbur around, I gave him a bow with a significant amount of fire damage. After awhile he seemed to regularly fire it off sometimes when no foes were around, delightedly exclaiming "Ha ha!" I finally realized that it was casting my Reiki/Ghost Meadow combo that was causing him to fire. Seems like escorts that have whatever location you're targeting in range attack it with you, but they misinterpret the use of buffs (or perhaps only buff combos) as an attack. It caught me by surprise a few times and I thought enemies might be charging us from off screen where he was firing while I was standing there off my horse enchanting myself. Needless to say, since it seemed he was going to be following me around for awhile, I took away his bow privileges.

ROFLOL!!! Took away his privileges! I love funny glitches like this. For instance, in a game I am playing now there is a glitch where sometimes you come across a dragon that is flying backwards. Good stuff, I hope they don't fix that one in a patch.

Yes, in some of my favorite games a huge chunk of the entertainment derived from it is not from what the game is supposed to do, but the stuff that it shouldn't do that results in all sorts of comedy.
You don't see a lot of that sort of thing in a game like Sacred where you don't have a lot of different variables interacting. But, imagine if the peaceful wildlife, different types of enemies (animals vs people) etc. reacted to each other somehow. Though it is kind of funny to watch a line of thieves and rabid wolves chasing you, it would be more entertaining if they didn't ignore each other. Unfortunately, those wild wolves seem to favor Hero Sandwiches over Humanoid Sandwiches...
