Well not to much traffic surrounding Sacred anymore I can see, but I thought an introduction was in order just the same. I am new to Sacred Underworld, well been playing for a month anyway. Love this board for all it's wonderful resources. An old Diablo and DiabloII fiend. Finally stopped playing those recently and found Sacred, thank goodness, I was about to lose my mind with no classic hack'n'slash to play. That's about it really, have any other questions just ask.

Hello!
I got sacred 1 with a hungarian gaming magazinea few years ago, and being somewhat familiar with Diablo 2 at the time (Played dio2 when I was around age 7), I could get a somewhat good start, and managed to get a Battle Mage to level 30, thanks to pushing enemies back with spammable gust of wind, but all data was lost. Then I made a Wood Elf, and loved shooting 4-5 penetrating arrows at once, it was very powerful (and at that time I didn't care about getting the best possible gear, also recharges were around 7-8 seconds with PArrow).
Then after a long pause where I was mostly playing Guild Wars, along with some Dungeon Siege 1 and 2, I got Sacred 2 this fall (early october), I got Sacred 2!
Now I just love the High Elf. Three-hit explodey fireballs, Meteor Showers and Gust of Wind on fire are so much fun to play.
But as I am nowhere a pro, I messed around with my points spending in the Ice tree, (took ice lore up to 7). Luckily this game did not punish me for playing around. ( I'm just lvl 19 or so) But to be sure I read some developed Elf builds to have some kind of concept in developing my char to further levels. I'm also planning on not dying in this (Good) campaign.
