Yeah but they poured a ridiculous amount of money into making Sacred 2 which totally bombed big time

I wish i was still alive, i died during the Apocalypse of 2011. It was terrible, zombies ate my liver. But when i was still alive i used this site when ever i was going to play Sacred, it has everything you would ever need to know about the game and then some. This is my first time posting on any forum (ever) and i figured for all the times i use this site i should say thanks for all hard work every one has put into it. So Thanks!!! And know that as long as i have a computer that can still run sacred i will use this site. Also i had an idea to possibly increase the number of people that visit the site. Since Sacred and Diablo are both very similar games you could add guides for that as well, and with Diablo 3 coming out soon (hopefully within the next hundred years) people would look for web sites that have the detailed information that you have on sacred. Hell in a perfect world all games would have a site like this one. Just a thought. One last thing i,m going to use this smilieand the green text for no good reason other than simply because i can!!!

Thanks a bunch! I can't wait for D3!!! I loved those games too! Good thought, I totally wouldn't be against adding a new board section on the forum for the Diablo games where people could add things they discovered or asked questions.... But I created this website while I was a stay at home mom with too much time on my hands, whereas now I work full time and just wouldn't be able to create a large addition to the site

Going from too much time to not enough, don't know what the worlds coming too when you have to get a job to earn a paycheck But as i said before even if nothing else is added to the site i will still use it. However i do have a few questions. First - Do collecting all the book/scrolls of a certain set give any bonuses or is it just lore? Second - Is there any web site you know of that i can read what is on the books/scrolls, i personally like games with a good story (something sacred is not short on) but id rather not get all the scrolls randomly and out of order. Thanks in advance.

They are just lore It's funny you ask actually because it reminded me that I had planned to get screenshots of all the books and add links to the images in the list I have on my site but somewhere along the way I totally forgot to do that... ah well. They don't have ALL of the books, but they do have most of them... I wish there was a site I knew of that wasn't a wiki just because I'm don't really like the format of wiki sites. But they do have a good bit of info there: www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred:Books

I'm actually surprised it doesn't give you any thing for collecting them, i mean you find a few statues and a wall of fire follows in your wake, but you collect 50 scrolls and you go from a bad ass demon slayer to a well-read bad ass demon slayer, typical game developers. Thanks for the answers though.
Of course I even thought to check the wiki right after I posted the question, but I really don't care much for the sacred wiki. I like most of the other ones in fact i actually have a folder in my bookmarks for nothing but wiki pages, with over 20 different wiki sites. And even though not actually a wiki that's where i have this site saved to because it has everything, hints, tips, guides, etc... everything i use the wikis for.
Looks like i got a lot of reading in my future.....

Does anyone know where I can find servers for sacred that are still active for multiplayer?

Sorry no.... I've heard through the grapevine that there are still some out there but I don't know where.

so much like Diablo's horadrim, the multiplayer servers of sacred are about all but lost and forgotten. Bummer, was a great game.

I don't really browse the boards, but have been using the Lair for several months now after I've discovered a rather odd fascination with the farm-y and grind-y breed of RPGs (mostly play arcade first person shooters and 2D fightings) and therefore decided to give UW a proper run after playing when S1 first came out (some weird vanilla version with English text and German voice-overs) and several years afterwards in...'08-'09 I think (dropped early after glitching up side quests with the Riddle in the Desert)? The Lair info is invaluable, I say. Though I still can't exactly wrap my head around the whole concept and practical usefulness of combos.
Well, just registered to say thanks - it's a great site, hope it won't go down anytime soon.

Just as many other before me, I'd like to thank for the great site that you have done. It's a great guide for everybody from beginners to advanced players. I've been using it for years to help me understand different aspects of the game and it sure did help me
