I logged on today and noticed that the profile and log out buttons are missing from the tool bar. Is this a fluke? I was planning on adding my yahoo id but cannot do it now. I miss playing S2, but college has taken over life right now.

I have the buttons, so it was likely fluke with your browser, or something with proboards. If you do not see them still though then try another browser, or ask wolfe is she is doing anything silly around here to cause it.

Nightwolfe, I'm very happy that you can see all buttons, but the log out button no longer appears on my PC, and I don't want to remain logged on. I did note that when I hit the Edit button, the logout button appeared VERY briefly, but too briefly to press it. I'm running IE 7, on Windows XP SP3. PLEASE add an extra log-out button. EDIT: Logged on with Mozilla Firefox from a PC running Ubuntu. Still no log off button. Very respectfully, fleet

Interesting. I am running XP and Mozilla or IE and I have both buttons! I can't think of what could be causing an issue for you.. especially since you've tried both IE and Mozilla.

So sorry for the delay, there is so little going on here these days that I only check every week or so. I DO know that I added a code FOREVER ago that removes certain buttons for certain users. I added it to get rid of the unnecessary buttons to make the menu fit the forum better. I wonder if somehow proboards changed the coding or numbering of the menu and that is why it went wonky... I'll remove the code, so please let me know if that fixes it

Very strange, but you are quite welcome Now I just have to remake the buttons when I get a chance since I didn't replace the graphics for the one's I wasn't going to use...
