hey i'm new to the forum so don't shoot me for doing something wrong . Anyway, i was wondering, when you find an item with find valuable items x%, does this mean you have a greater chance to find set, unique and legendary items off of mobs and in chest or does it mean something else, O btw just a quick question does wolf lair have a sort of guild for this game, you know where people from wolf lair could get together and play. well thats about all from me thanks in advance for any answers

Yes, items that have magic find will increase the chance of finding the good items you listed.
Wolfe used to have a clan, but not anymore, so if you want to play with people then the best way to do it would be to simply ask.

oww okay thanks good 2 know. It's a real shame that there is no clan anymore, well i think it would be a great idea to try to recreate the clan, make playing online a bit more fun if you can play with somebody else:P. hey area 666 i think it would be cool to play with you . o btw at what % of finding items increase do you really notice a difference, and whats your chance of finding goof items?

I am going to play online someday. I wanted to play through the campagin with both a good and evil char first. I did the good, and then I got sidetracked by playing Far Cry 2.
As for when finding items makes a difference I can not really give a specific number, but I know I like to try and keep mine around 20%. Your survival bonus will increase this number, as well as taking the enhanced perception skill, which every point you put into it will raise your magic find by .1%.

well when you feel like playing online tell me then we can play together, hmm so enhanced perception increases chance to find good stuff, but doesn't it also increase exp you receive from monsters. Also how do i increase my survival bonus?

I am not sure if it increases the exp, but I do not think it does. If you happen to find an item though that says +some number of exp, and that modifier uses enhanced perception then it would. Like if you pick up an item and it has in red inside parenthesis a skill then you would know that you need that skill to get that modifier, but if you have the skill you will just see the percent increase it does. You can increase a skill though and watch it go up.
For survival bonus you get that to increase by not dying basically. When you are fighting it will increase. You can see what level yours is at in your inventory screen. I can not remember what you move the mouse cursor over to see it, but it is below your char portrait and a window will pop up and have it listed, along with other things too. If you die though it will reset to .1%. You can notice an increase in it though by just watching. Like you will notice enemies spawn at a level higher than you, and I think when you are maxed out on survival bonus they are 15 levels above you. Your attack and defense rating will also be increased, so it is a good thing to try and not die.
Right now I am not sure when I will play online. I have only done so very little right now, and want to beat another game I am playing before I go back to S2.

well on the first part i have come across items with the modifier of enhanced perception, and i can understand that you want to finish your other game first , what i really wanna do is kind of have a group of people to interact with on sacred 2, my friends aren't really into gaming, so it's kinda annoying .

I did try to create a clan here at Wolfe's Lair once, as well as help create a number of other clans, but none ever went very well. I think a lot of that probably has to do with the fact that Sacred Underworld was really slow at that point, but I decided that I just didn't want to go to the effort of trying to run my own clan, run the forum, the website and the FAQ section at the International Forum anyway... just way too much to do. So at this point I have actually joined Clan-DA, they are a great clan that not only play Sacred 1 & 2 but also play Guild Wars and WoW together. Plus to the best of my knowledge they are the oldest active Sacred clan.
My suggestion though is to just play online for a while, it probably won't take you long at all to start seeing the same people over and over that play at the same times as you do. Just be friendly and helpful when you can and in no time you'll start making friends and form a group that plays together with you often. While being in a clan can be great, it doesn't always mean you'll end up playing with your clan members all the time, it all depends on what times of day you play and what levels your characters are, it also depends on whether you play hardcore or softcore. Our communities clans are great though, you don't need to be part of anyone's clan to be welcome to play with them.
