Is there a brick and mortar in the USA (not a web site, I know about Amazon) that has Sacred 2 in stock? I read at the CDV site that Atari is the exclusive distributor for North America, so I suspect the lack of availability is a problem between CDV and Atari. I'd rather purchase the North American release as I don't want to download 400+Meg in game patches . . . (slow internet connection)

Your best bet would be to try a Game Stop. I was at a Best Buy 2 nights ago and they did not have it there, and I would assume that major chains would have it first.

AREA666Hi. I went to the Gamestop web site and checked for the availability of the game in stores near me. I did the same thing with the EB web site, both sites said "No new products found within 100 miles of this ZIP code." Walmart, Frys Electronics, Circuit City, and Best Buy don't even list it (Walmart shows it for XBox360). I'm thinking CDV and Atari really dropped the ball on this game.

Your best bet really would be to just buy it online, Sacred Gold was also difficult to find in actual stores I'm not surprised that nothing has changed since then.

I saw Sacred Gold not too long ago at Half Priced Books. I'm taking the advice and ordering on-line from Amazon; with one day shipping it will only cost me $2 more than if I drove to town to buy it...

Half Priced Books had Sacred Gold for $5, but we've gone off topic.... My copy of Sacred 2 arrived at the local United Parcel Service distribution center this morning, so it should be in my hands today. I saw over on the official forums that Gamestop is getting a few copies at individual stores.

With gamestop it works like this. You go into the store and pay like 5 bucks. They put what is called an hold on it. Now with this they will hold it for you when it comes in. But what they fail to tell you is that your 5 bucks you paid is actually what brings the game to you. Reason being is it orders from the people who make the game. So it is shipped to the store where you pay. Takes 2 days to get most of the time. I know this cause it is how I got my game. Hope this helps.
