So eventually the plan is to have a full quest list on Wolfe's Lair with graphic tutorials for them all just like I have for S1. However, that is going to take a lot of time... So for now I am asking for all of you to help me build just a plain quest checklist. I would like: - A list, in order, for the entire main campaigns, both the Shadow and Light campaigns. Please specify which parts are character specific and to which character. From what I've seen I think just the first quest is character specific but I'm not sure.
- A list for each character, in order, of the Character Quests (these are marked by blue circles).
- A list of all the side quests anyone has found so far, if you can please make a note of what town the initial quest giver is located that would be great.
Any info. would be really helpful, even if it isn't complete, it would still be great to get it started

Wolfe I will help with listing as much as I possibly can since I am trying to finish all quests. Not sure about the order unless the log book puts them in that way.

Actually, I have had a ton of help from DarkWolfNine over at Clan-DA, I have a complete list of quests up until Act V I think now, using an Inquisitor on the Shadow Campaign anyway. Only problem is that I don't have start location names yet... so I have no way of arranging the side quests properly.

You should just arrange the quests alphabetically since people typically will say hey I need help with quest such and such, not I need help with this quest that starts in town x where you do this in it and we have to figure out what you are doing in it.
I have a lot of quests listed under my sera, but the problem is that I do not know which are the main quest and which are side quests I did.

Dang that sucks... they should mark them differently!

The new patch might do that, but seeing as how I have not installed it yet I do not know.

all side quests seem to be marked with the green circles, the main one is the orange circle and the character specific one seems to be in blue
edit: with the new patch installed all of the green circles disappeared. The only way I know to tell the difference between main and side quests is now in the log book. Main quests are the checked off ancaria symbol all the way to the left and the side quests are just a tad to the right under the main ones. Character specific quests have a log book tab all of their own at the bottom of the page.

wolfe should like the new way they are marked in the log then seeing as how whenever I get unlazy and send her shots of my log she will then be able to tell which are main and which are not.
I think the circle is still there though for your active side quest at least, or are you talking about having all of them show on the map? If so then they probably removed them to keep the map from getting too cluttered since when you do a lot of quests in one area in can become hard to tell where you need to go with all those overlapping circles.

Oh no, I meant in the quest log. They should either have a different symbol in front of the main quest line or have the text a different color so you can tell the difference between the different types of quests.

I did notice some of the quests were in a brighter white in the log now, but I think those are just for the linked quests.

I'm new here so i wasn't quite sure where to post this so sorry if i put it in the wrong place.

Ok, 'Wolfe, AREA, and anyone else involved with the Quests, Side Quests, etc., I'm ready to lend a hand if there's anything else that I can still help out with in the Walkthroughs department. I got my 2gigs of RAM in the mail yesterday, and with 3g total now I'm running smooth as silk. I also DL-ed FRAPS because of the pain-in-the-arse screenshot utility in the game. I've got taking the screenshot, then editing it to jpeg just about down pat. After that's finished I can have whatever-it-is uploaded to my Photobucket in no-time. I'm going through in the "Light" Campaign as a Dryad, and I was particularly interested to know if certain shots were wanted for Quest Walkthroughs. Specifically screenshots of: The World Map (M-key) with the particular Quest's circle centered and the Quest's title visible The "Tab" Map with Quest markers visible Close-ups of the Quest-giver, Quest-objective, Quest-log, etc. Any or all of these at beginning, middle, and/or end of the Quests. Anyhoo, now that I've got a fully-patched(2.34) and smoothly-running game, I figured I'd completely explore the High Elf region this time around instead of just trying to go through as quickly as possible. I should be able to get a lot more actual game played in the same amount of time thanks to my tune-up, and taking, editing, organizing, and uploading some screen-shots shouldn't cut too much into my play-time. I plan to camp out on the PC this weekend anyway, so I figured I'd help out if I could with anything that's still needed for the Walkthroughs. I've been checking in here pretty much every day, so just let me know. I'm home evenings, but I also sometimes check in before I go to work or during my lunch break.
