So I started to play S2 today, and it sure takes a lot longer to gain levels than the first. I remember killing a few enemies in the first and being level like 5 in no time, but now it is different. I had to kill like 30 enemies to get to level 2. Maybe it is because I started on silver, but I am guess it is just different is all. Only thing that sucks is that right after I leveled the game crashed, but such is life, and I am downloading the patches anyway, so hopefully I can play without a crash again for a while.

I needed to say something too... armor now slow downs your CA regen timer. The more protective the armor is, the more severe the CA penalty. My first character (Temple Guardian) was built completely wrong... I was in chapter 3, mostly just going after the main quest and side quests only when it does not involve running long distance. My lowest CA regen time is over 35 seconds, and that's with special mount's CA bonus. I ended up killing everything with melee and ranged attacks. Which worked very well - I only need to hold the mouse button and move it around to kill everything in the orc land. I wouldn't even mind them surrounding me completely, and just stand there, shooting them down one by one with an energy pistol. But one side quest in act 3 got me killed pretty quickly... the quest is called "Even more Demons" IIRC. I felt I do not have sufficient offensive power in that quest (i.e. lack of CA). Movement speed is also painfully low. I guess I'll have to restart...

Did you perhaps read a lot of runes? I am lvl 40 right now and my regen bar has been in the range of like 90-110% I would guess. I use pelting strikes all the time with my sera and while I do not know its level I think it is around like 6 or so with like a 5 second or so regen that is just long enough to recharge when the entire sequence is done. I have not played with the temple guardian yet, but if you have skills to choose then maybe they have a focus one for the arts you like, or if you are using buffs then choose attributes for them to lower their regen.

I chose all the wrong skills... and I didn't specialize. All CAs except the buffs are pretty low level. I took Concentration too late, and the stat points are not spent in an organized way.
Anyway, I'll restart! I saved up some Seraphim runes and gears in the shared box.

Can you share items with a new character in SP? I always see the shared box and assumed it was for different chars in MP only, but if it is single player then that would be great.

Yes, you can share in SP as well. No need for mule programs or characters now!

Fun stuff, does this essentially double my space of my chest then too?

If your other characters don't use the shared box for storage, yes. I'm trying to find if there's some button+click pattern to move items without dragging them over though (e.g. shift-click to move from one section to another). Transferring my old TG's items is painful.

Yeah I wish there was something like that too. I can sell items fast, but not move them. I would think they will put it in in a future patch though if it is not yet there since it is horribly annoying without it.

And they need to sort the runes for us! It's very painful finding the type you want from the stash. >_<

I used to like the boars, but I am annoyed with them now. I did like to level around this castle though, I can not remember the name but it started with a G, and there was lots and lots and lots of evil human knights out there that got me to level rather quickly.

The areas with lots of undead in the human region can work well, or the same area, but with the dark knight clan people. It is Clearview for the undead, and I think Griffinborough for the knights. The enemies are not all that high on giving exp, but there is a lot of them and they can go down fast, so it makes up.
For monsters that give a lot of exp, but there are not too many of them, then the end area of the game in the wastelands has lots of demonic creatures that will fit that bill.
