So from the advice of Griffman (IIRC) I've started a rune farming char... the ripping claws Vampiress. I checked out some skills and abilities to find out which ones I'd like to use, and noticed concentraion affected Ripping claws, so I went with that while pumping phys regen for even lower regen. But as I was around lvl 40 I noticed that concentration didn't have an affect in ripping claws, or at least not the one I want. It lowers the regen time, but only while in knight form it seems, while vampirism lowers it when in vamp mode. So is it just me not doing enough testing, and that concentration actually helps, or is vampirism the way to go for a perma vamp?
Other thing I read is that changing form at night will give double the duration in vamp form than what it says on the skill. That's belivable and easy to test, but I also read that you should not only make the combo at night (which is supposed to give double duration even when changing in day time) and while being in the vamp form. I think it had something to do with sun damage, but as far as I can tell, the effect of the sun damage is based on the current TiV/vampirism lvl (excluding a TiV lvl gained from combo).
Next question is more of a general question, but it would help for my next vamp rune finder. I figured instead of having a really high lvl rune finder that can't enter lower lvl games, I'd rather have one at around 90ish before remaking. Anyway what I'm wondering is if parrying is worth it if using a two handed weapon. As I understand it parrying is best used when having a 1h wep and shield instead of a two handed wep. So would I be better off placing points in something else? Do note that I will need to save as many skills as I can since the char need to have really great performance from lvl 1 until I feel like making it over again.
I guess that's all of my boring questions this time. Though... I'll be back with more.
