Okay, now the maps are even more annoying

I google'ed Wolfe's Lair to locate the guide to exit the Dryad's Forest. Now I'm out of the tree tops, but I can't find any way to cross the river. No bridge, no shallow parts to walk, no place to jump.





It's like the map is deliberately designed to artificially prolong game time. It's making me raving mad... I don't think I'd ever take a character without any jumping/teleporting abilities through UW.
