How do I keep them alive, when they don't even try to move away from a pile of poisonous goo?
And this "Pruduk" guy has literally NO poison resistance... and he gleefully charge into combat with those poison-goo-spewing carnivorous plants. And he doesn't go napping, he dies.
I think after each fight involving plants I need to spend about 5 mid-level green pots to remove his poison, and then 3-5 red pots for his HP. With others foes I can *try* to draw fire with my poison mist, if he doesn't charge the enemies first.
And those Nuk-nuks hit hard. So hard that even I need to use a red pot after a few of those super ranged shots. I'm out of green pots now. At this rate I'll be out of red pots soon too.
And the only way to heal NPCs is to open inventory and shift-right-click on a pot...
Too painful... too painful. I think I've made the right choice to leave the Baroness under the ghost prince's protection.

I google'd a bit and it seems Pruduk never leaves you... so the solution is to let him die. I don't need him for any quest? Or only let him die after returning to the "save pruduk" quest giver?

Actually I think if you hit B it heals the NPC. I could be wrong about the key but there is one that does it. Otherwise, I agree. NPC's suck

Thanks gtiffman! I'll try "B" next time.
In any case, Pruduk killed himself attacking some skeletal pirates, and I've completed UW bronze for the first time today...

Yep if you need to heal an NPC just hit "B" like Griff said, but to elaborate in case at any point you have more than one NPC at the same time that you want to keep alive... "B" will automatically heal the first NPC on your list even if it is only missing a single HP so in order to use the shortcut to heal the second NPC on your list the first must have 100% life and if you want to heal the third than the first two must have 100% life and so on. And I am sure you found this out, but yes Prutuk is useless and you can let him die right away with no bad repercussions. I am not sure if you noticed but part of the reason he is so useless is that he spends all of his time getting drunk even in battle. Check out THIS SCREENSHOT for a laugh!

Yeah I noticed him drinking from a greenish bottle. At first I thought it was an animation used when I feed him pots, but then I found out he drinks non-stop on his own.
