I play a LAN game, no problems until now. We cannot get the forest golem to show up. I am fairly sure we are at the right spot, by looking at the info posted here. Has anyone else had this problem or better yet, how do I get pass this? Thanks for any help

Have you completed all of the quests before the forest golem? By that I mean:
the quest with the squire the master's bushes.... collecting the weapon of legends...
If you've completed all of those then he should appear. One more thing, you have to have completed them all in the same game. I notice you said LAN game, I've never played LAN before... but if it works like MP then you won't be able to fight the forest golem if you've left the game. If it works like SP, then as long as you've saved the game and are loading from that save then you'll be ok.

Sometimes the Master does not show up and thus the entire quest sequence is blown. It happened to my Blizzard Wood Elf in Bronze. The best way to guarantee you can do the Forest Golem is to start from the southern isle portal and work your way to the Haduk village after also helping Lareniar the Unlucky. Talk to the Haduk chief, decline Gargaduk's escort offer, and head towards the first point for the Master.
Along the way, you might as well do the Hornet and Dagger quests. Taking out the Nuk Nuk Chieftain for the rescue on the way to the Weapon of Legends is an option. Or you could do the smart thing and just run or ride like heck thru the Embalmed Forest place. The Weapon of Legends is a bit tricky to reach, but it sounds like finding the 'Toothpick of Trouble' is NOT an issue. You may have to go back and forth at the Golem place a few times to trigger him off, but he should show up. IF you have any non-physical damages, it will make a huge difference when you fight the Golem.

thanks for the info when we play Friday we'll try it out. playing in a LAN is somewhat like sp in that you can save but if you die you die, you keep what you find though. It is very helpful if you need to leave and go get potions, empty inventory etc.
I'm a 113 lv seraphin and my husband is a 110 lv gladiator, great game, more addicting than diablo.
