i made a wood elf last week . i decided to make her a caster but I have some things that arent clear to me .
1 : does the meg an enid let it snow bonus do anyting or is it just for good looks ? ( i have 5 parts so I wanna know ) 2 : do plant cage and transformation need high lvls to work on harder mobs ? 3 : why does the orla aisling 4 socket bonus ( charged bolts ) hit me ? it doesnt touch mobs but it halves my hp .

1. AFAIK, the snow is only for good looks, never seen it do anything useful in game.
2. Most combat arts/spells like transformation need to be at least 1/3 of the enemies' lvl, the higher the better.
3. Orla is bugged, and often lags the game and dmg the PC (and other players online), so there's nothing to be done, except stop using orla, hehe.
Hope it helped, though I'm not a WE expert.

Moon basically summed it all up. Just wanted to add something to plant cage - it doesn't really help all that much. You can only trap one baddie per cast. Best bet is to save those extra runes and have them switched to thorn bush or CotA to kill the mob faster.
I don't have any experience with transformation past the 1 rune read level. It seemed almost useless to me, since I'd rather kill things than turn them into cute animals...
