If anybody has not played this game then you should. I was kind of warry at first since it was a sci-fi themed RPG, but I was very happy with how it was done, and the storyline is great. I played the PC version, but there is also the 360 version released last year. A sequel is being made and Bioware, who has done other games like Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights, made this as well, so you know it is great. One thing though is it is short for an RPG, which may be good for some people, but it only took me about 35 hours to beat, and my room mate a little over 24.

Indeed it is a great game. I've got the 360 version, and all the choices is just awesome. The charcters/character development, storyline/plot, class choices etc is really great. There are some pretty good and unexpected twists to the story as well.
I think you can easily push the time it takes to complete near 40ish hours or even 50 by doing sidequests and such. And even if you can't I would recomend playing as both good and evil, and you're easily looking at 50 hours if you only want main quest and some sidequests.
Btw you also forgot they made KotOR 1 and 2 and as far as I know are working on KotOR 3. =)

I know they made those, but most people here tend to play the more fantasy based RPGs, so I figured I would just tell they made them.

I see. Though if they like Mass Effect, I think there is a good chance they will like KotOR as well.

Even though I beat this game several months ago, I want to add here that it has really stuck with me. I am eagerly awaiting the sequel to continue the story in the same way I was waiting for the next Lord Of The Rings movie to come out.
I have bought the two books released that add details to the storyline, and plan to play the game again before the next one comes out next year sometime.
I have not come across anybody who does not like this game, and for me it is a strong contender to be my favorite game of all time. If anybody owns a 360, or a PC that can play it you should seriously play this game.
