I do not know about the rest of you, but this summer seems to have a lot more movies I want to see than is normal. So, what films is everybody interested in seeing, or have you seen?
So far for me I have seen a few movies this summer I really like, such as Iron Man, Prince Caspian, and Indiana Jones.
Movies I wish to see, that I know of so far, are The Incredible Hulk, Get Smart, Wall-E, Wanted, Hancock, Hellboy 2, The Dark Knight, X-Files, the next in the Mummy series, and Star Wars : Clone Wars.
I am sure there are more, but those are the big ones that I know of right now, and it just seems that there is a lot of big movies this summer.

The only summer release I've seen so far is Iron Man which was AWESOME! We pretty much only see one movie in the theater a year, sometimes two, since they are so darn expensive and the whole needing to find a babysitter and all that. Not to mention sitting through a movie without a cigarette sucks! LOL Plus of course we get unlimited free rentals and get the movies 4 days prior to the DVD release dates so.... But the ones I am totally looking forward to seeing are: Prince Caspian Indiana Jones (I have the box set of the previous 3 and watched them a few hundred times as a kid) Kung Fu Panda The Incredible Hulk (Edward Norton is the best actor EVER!!!) I really hope to god this one is better than the previous movie arghhh! What a piece of trash! WALL-E Wanted The Dark Knight Hancock Hellboy II But what I REALLY can't wait for (and will be one of the few movie theater movies) is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in November!!!!

Now now Wolfe, I am not sure about where you live and all, but for the rest of us in normal places in the US summer does not go through Nov.
I think the Hulk movie will be better though, it looks better already from the trailers. Iron Man is supposed to be in it for a bit too, probably just to help set up the Avengers and all. And now with Marvel doing their own movies, with Iron Man being first, we can pretty much rest assured that all the future movies will be closer to the comics, or just more true to the stories in general.

Yeah I sure do hope so, I love Marvel and so far most of the "marvel" movies have been ruined My point was... who cares about the summer movies when Harry Potter's coming out in the fall!?!

I agree with almost all of your list there AREA. I haven't seen Indiana Jones or Iron Man, but I've heard both are really good. The only movie I don't want to see out of your list is the Mummy one. Brendan Frasier just seems like a freaking idiot to me. I cannot stand to watch him in any movie - sorry... just doesn't work out too well with me. I think I may have liked maybe one or two of his movies - and he probably wasn't lead if I liked it.
I busted out the Avengers DVD's again last week - forgot how kickbutt they were. I'm really looking forward for the next day off I get to see Iron Man...

I do have to agree with you there Griff, Brendan is an idiot, and I think he can be annoying, but I like the Mummy series even with him in it. I tend to not really care who is in a movie, even if it is somebody I abhor, like Angelina Jolie, I will still watch movies they are in, and I can like them, it will just be harder.

I didn't like the previews I've seen for the new mummy - and mostly it was because of him. Him being in a movie hasn't ever really stopped me from watching it, just the same with other actors I don't like (Nicholas Cage, Matthew McConaughey to name a couple). I just don't think I can put up with him, especially because of the way he was portrayed in the preview.

As an update here, I have now seen The Incredible Hulk, Get Smart, and Wall-E.
The Hulk was pretty good, but I liked Iron Man a lot more.
Get Smart was good, although if you did not like, or ever see the original series in the 60's, you may not find it as amusing.
Wall-E is a good family movie, although for a while I thought that basically all that would be spoken in the movie was Wall-E.
