Please be aware that to do the Seraphim and Battle Mage builds you will need to have edited your .ini file to be able to select your initial skills as well. I can't actually recall how to do this, but someone here will know!
Combat Arts: Combat Jump, Hard Hit, Attack
Skills in Order of Selection: (Weapon Lore, Sword Lore) Concentration, Dual Wielding, Armor, Ranged Combat, Agility, Constitution
Best Set to Aim For: Abdiel's Revenge
Combos to Have: (Hard Hit x4) and (Combat Jump, Attack x3)
Notes: This build will start to involve a bit of weapon swapping after level 20, but is well worth it for the destruction potential involved! Picture this. You are coming up to a large group of enemies, so choose your ranged weapon, and let off a 4x Hard Hit Combo. Switch to your dual blades, then use your Combat Jump and Attack x3 combo to launch yourself into the survivors and wipe them out. Survivors? What survivors?
The only real downfall I have noticed to this build is that Abdiel's seems to be one of the harder sets to find in both SP and MP (though that could be just me) so you will need to pick up every piece of armor you can to find the best ones for you. However, opening Bravemart will combat this problem a little.
Combat Arts: Shield Wall, Stoneskin, Spiritual Healing and/or Reiki
Skills in Order of Selection: (Weapon Lore, Meditation), Sword Lore, Earth Magic, Agility, Constitution, Disarming, Parrying
Best Set to Aim For: Paternus' Argument
Combos to Have: (Shield Wall, Stoneskin) or if chosen (Shield Wall, Stoneskin, Reiki)
Notes: With no damaging spells in the repertoire of this build, Magic Lore is unnecessary. This build is designed for those who love the look of the Battle Mage, but aren't big fans of spellcasting. It is a little difficult to get going at first, due to the low value of the BM's initial Strength, Endurance and Physical Regen, so for a while you will need to concentrate on beefing those up.
Choosing Spiritual Healing negates the need to carry piles of antidote potions through the swamp area. Choosing Reiki to add into a combo will allow the damage received to disappear almost as soon as you get it! If both are chosen, keep Spiritual Healing as a single use, and you will not need to have it that high as Reiki will take care of the healing for you, so it is mainly used to combat poisoning.
Combat Arts: Dagger Stare, Combat Kick, Fist of the Gods
Skills in Order of Selection: (Weapon Lore, Concentration), Unarmed Combat, Armor, Agility, Constitution, Disarming, Trading
Best Set to Aim For: Raane's Audacity
Combos to Have: (Combat Kick, Fist of the Gods, Combat Kick, Fist of the Gods)
Notes: This was a fun build to play for me - kind of a tavern brawler type Gladiator! Though the combo I have stated above is a slow one to begin with, I didn't really use it a lot until I got to the swamp and the Dark Elves anyway, keeping the CAs as single use.
The set I named is a small one, leaving room for flexibility, and though Trading is unable to be taken until lvl 50, that's when you will start to need it more in your search for the perfect pair of combat gauntlets. Plus, being small, you have less to look for before completion of it gives you permanent Heroic Courage, bonuses to Weapon Lore and experience gain, and a plus to all combat arts.
