Since Wolfe's Lair is lacking in build guides, I thought I would post a build based on what has worked for me for 80 levels.
The Spear and Blades Seraphim is a Melee build augmented by Rotating Blades of Light. I did it using long handled weapons but I see no reason it couldn't be used with one weapon and shield or duel wielding just as well.
Attributes
For Attributes, pump Physical Regen. The only spell you will be using regularly is RBoL so as long as you keep the regen under duration time, you should have no need for mental regen. Physical regen also keeps your hit points total high, much needed for the way you will do combat.
Skills
For your initial skills, put your points into weapon lore, which you will probably want to keep maxed for some time. The occasional point in Magic Lore will help keep your blades sharp, but only concentrate on this if they seem to be useless. Usually putting more runes into RBoL is a better investment than raising Magic Lore.
Make your level 3 pick Concentration to keep your combat art regen time down.
Level 6 go with Heavenly Magic for your RBoL regen time. I think this has better advancement than Meditation, though I guess you could go either way. Do not pick both skills though.
For level 12, take a weapon lore to keep your attack speed maxed.
Level 20, take one, either Armor or Constitution
Level 30, take whatever you didn't take at 20
Level 50 it is your pick, Trading would be good for single player, other possibilities are Agility, Meditation, or Parrying. I went with Parrying, and regret it a bit as it doesn't seem to help much.
Pump your weapon lore enough to keep your attack speed maxed and to meet weapon requirements. Take the other skills to around 50 or whenever you feel they have dropped off too much in return for cost.
Combat Arts
Your two main weapon combat arts will be Attack and Hard Hit. Generally, I keep regen time on Attack around 2.5 seconds and Hard Hit at 1 second. Use Hard Hit against archers and mages, use Attack when going toe to toe. Your main method of hunting will be to attract a group of monsters and beat on them with Attack while Rotating Blades of Light whittles them down.
You may want to put points into BeeEffGee for use against dragons as they tend to be very hard to face in melee.
Also, put 1 point into Combat Jump for travel and escaping trap spells.
For spells, put as much into RBoL as you can, just keep its regen time lower than its duration.
Many people also recommend Strength of Faith but I haven't really found a need for it in most situations.
Equipment
Look for item mods that raise your physical regen and lower combat art regen time. Also, keeping high leech levels is quite nice. Mine are currently at 50% and as long as my RBoL keep hitting things I don't need to worry about healing.
In your weapon slots, keep a weapon for each damage type and use a slot for casting RBoL. I use the Thunder of the Sereish sword and shield socketed with RBoL runes and switch to it whenever RBoL needs recast.
On a side note, for your poison damage slot, I find Orla-Aisling's Spear of Fright to be about the best thing available. Socket it with the jewelery from the set for best results.
In closing, this probably isn't the best build out there, but I have found it to be quite fun for many levels. Please post your own experiences, the more knowledge the better.
