Oh, well... I guess I'll give my husband credit for trying. I'm not the movie watcher... he is.

this movie is foriegn but was picked up by fox studios and has had a screening recently...it also use to be a series of books and is a trilogy.

I cheated to find the movie since I thought I knew what it was and then it was not but since I cheated I wont post the answer but I do have a question. Is there a version of it in English? Since you said it was piced up by Fox I would assume it to be although when I downloaded it last night it was Russian I think and none of the other ones told me the language.

fox screened it in its origonal language but when it has a nation wide releas it will be dubbed and they are planning on cutting a few scenes......also about the tim of release they will be releasing the translated versions of the first 2 books which from what ive read of the first is excellent......enjoy the movie.... i really liked it and thought it to be extremely layered as far as story wise.... if you dont get most of it the first time watch it again.....you'll pick up on more the second time.

Stupid companies and cutting stuff out, probably cool things too. Maybe the will have a directors cut with it all in it. I will have to find a different version of the movie to watch as the one I downloaded did not have subtitles so I would not get much out of it from just watching it. I think for the movie quotes what you might want to do is have one of your odd foreign movies for people to try to guess as well as an easier one, kind of the same way as I do an old and new movie. That way people might play more if they think they have any chance at all of guessing the movie.

its a relatively cheap import........you can pick it up for probably 15$ and it has subtitles most of the downloadable ones don't have the subtitles......but good luck hunting.
OK easier quote:[said just after character 1 backs in to a van]
Character 1: I didn't see it there.
Character 2: It's a four ton truck. Its not as though its a bag of f-ing peanuts, is it?
Character 1: It was at a funny angle.
[All three turn and look back at the truck]
Character 2: It's behind you. Whenever you reverse, things come at you from behind.

Okay since no one had answered that one either..... the most recent one was Snatch and the foreign film before it was Nightwatch. Like I said I asked Alucard for the answer to Nightwatch and I HATED Snatch so much I didn't watch more than 20 minutes of it.... so I had to get him to tell me that one too.
Okay here is the next quote that I am posting at Alucard's request:
"I check the list. Rubber tubing, gas, saw, gloves, cuffs, razor wire, hatchet, Gladys, and my mitts."

Sin City, IIRC
So, try this one: 1st person: I've been here a long f*ing time and she's only refilled my coffee three times. I think she should be able to refill my coffee at least six times. 2nd person: Excuse me, but I think the last f*ing thing you need is another cup of coffee.

Well, Lindalou... I sure hope CRS is not catching!!! I haven't even come close to any of these. One of the good points about CRS and FMS is that you can read the same books and watch the same movies over and over since you never remember it the first time...

great movie choice trollshaman And since Alucard forgot to write the answer to TrollShaman's quote, though he DOES know the answer... it is Reservoir Dogs. -Night Wolfe
First Person: You see, I have no intentions of breaking down her prejudices. I want her to believe in God and virtue and the sanctity of marriage, and still not be able to stop herself. I want the pleasure of watching her betray everything that is most important to her. Surely you can understand that. I thought betrayal was your favorite word.
Second person: No, no..."cruelty." I always think that has a nobler ring to it.
here's a quote from one of Wolfe's favorite Chick flicks so she cant guess this........so here's another one for those of you who don't know the one above
Character: You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f_cking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Okay I have a new quote since this thread hasn't had any action lately.... I just watched this movie and it was hysterical.... Character 1: Look up idiot in the dictionary. You know what you'll find? Character 2: A picture of me? Character 1: No! The definition of idiot. Which you are! -+-Win32##Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.4##1152 × 864##1-+-
