They could always do what I thought before, and just have the peripheral that connects to the normal Revolution controller.

The new controller has ports on it, or some sort of a port?

There is a port on the bottom that they already have peripherals designed for. The only one I have seen has a few extra buttons and an analog stick.

Yeah I think I saw what you are talking about, although I thought it was just part of the normal controller, I guess I need to update my brain info.

Yar, the normal controller is just the TV remote type thing, but they are developing other things. The only one I have seen is what I mentioned before, and it is jokingly referred to as the "Nunchaku" style controller.

Nintendo always likes to release weird pepherials, to bad most dont do well such as the PowerPad, PowerGlove, and that robot that I think was called Bob or something simple like that.

I just heard some interesting news from Nintendo that the new Zelda game for gamecube will have some functionality that will only be with the Revolution.

So basically if you play the game on the Revolution once it comes out you get extra things, like levels or items? Or did htey not mention what the new things will be?

As far as I know, it is just that you will be able to use the controller as it is meant to be used with Revolution. (I hate the Wii name, so I will continue calling it Revolution) I won't mind feeling more like Link and using the sword.

Ok cool, just have to see what they do like that with games in the future. Revolution is cooler and more fitting anyway so it is fine by me to drop the Wii.

Updated news: Nintendo is releasing two versions of Twilight Princess, one for Revolution and one for Gamecube. Other than how the game is played with the controller, I have heard of nothing different between the two versions.

For anybody looking for a new RPG to play on Oct 31st Neverwinter Nights 2 comes out. The first one and its two expansions were really good so I am going to assume the second one will be as well. I plan to play it as soon as I can after it comes out so I will let you all know more about it then. One thing though if anybody might want to play it they should look at its system requirements since they are quite high. Some info about it is here... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neverwinter_Nights_2

Videocard wise I know you are fine since you have the 9800xt so you have 256 megs of ram and the game needs 128 and the card is still pretty fast today so it will be fine, although you might need to lower some things so it will not slow in certain areas, but the game can probably do that automatically. I dont remember what your cpu was though, but since 2.2ghz is fairly old i would assume you are fine there as well. I have upgraded a few things in my computer since I had posted my stats a while back so I wil let you know how well it runs for me since if my card has trouble running the game at low settings for some reason then yours would as well. Right now though I will say it will run fine for you though.
