Hi all,
I just joined the forum a few days ago and wanted to say hi! I have been playing Sacred Plus in single player for quite some time and came across this site while looking for other quests to do in the game. I saw the Bounty Hunter quest and tried to get started on it but found out that it isn't included in Plus so I went out and ordered Underworld right away!
I am married (7yrs) and my wife and I are currently enjoying not getting much sleep as our 6 month old daughter is getting a tooth!
Other cool facts - I love computer games in the Sacred/Diablo genre and am an avid fantasy reader. My favorites are the Sword of Truth Series, Wheel of Time Series, anything Tolkien wrote and all of Fiest's works.
I am also teaching myself how to play the harmonica (I have no musical talent at all) so I can play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for my daughter!

Welcome to the forum mrg! Wow, the harmonica? I've tried on several occasions to teach myself how to play but never with any luck. How is it coming along?

Not bad. I can get through Twinkle Twinkle fairly easily now but I still have to look at the page that tells me what notes to play!!

Wow and you can read music while playing? I play the guitar and I gave up on trying to read music. I know which notes stand for what but I can't read it and play it at the same time.... Does your daughter like the song already? I'm sure she does... that was a dumb question. Well anyways, hope to see you branching out to the other parts of the forum

I am up to three songs now! Twinkle, twinkle - Oh my darling (Clementine), and you are my sunshine!! None of them are very good but you can definitely tell what song I am playing so I guess that's encouraging. It sounds pretty good when you say that I can read music and play at the same time - makes me sound like I am good at it!! It is actually not really like reading music. Since I am just really breathing into the harmonica I don't have to do anything with my fingers - like you do with a guitar. So I have no problem looking at the sheet music. However, it is not reading notes per se, just reading whether to breathe in or out and on which hole. It goes like this - 4B 4B 6B 6B 6D 6D 6B with B for blow and D for Draw (in). It's actually easier than it seems!!

wow... I never could play a single instrument well... which again looms a question: why does the alphabet song and twinkle twinkle sound so alike?
bet yer singing it now...

A lot of nursery rhymes are set to the same tune. Mary Had a Little Lamb sounds like a couple others... I forget the names of them now though. Merrily We Roll Along is one of them. If you know the notes on your harmonica I can tell you how to play it High A, G, F, G, A, A, A, G, G, G, A, C, C --- A, G, F, G, A, A, A, G, G, A, G, F and of course you can transpose that to any key... so instead of A G F to start it could be C Bb Ab or E Db Cb or whatever you please. err well actually about that transposing thing, you have to be careful. There are sharps and flats in there too maybe I shouldn't have said anything
