Does your Dominos have the Canadian bacon topping, and if so is it still called that there? Or do you call it bacon, but then what do you call the other bacon?

I think we just have bacon and ham. Ham being really similar to canadian bacon right? What's the difference?

Well for us the Canadian bacon is thinly sliced ham in big pieces, and the normal bacon is well, normal bacon, so I wonder if they call it different up there.

Well, I must shamefully admit that I'm not entirely sure. The thin rectangular bacon that's always on tv we just call bacon, but as for 'Canadian bacon', I don't think I know anyone who actually eats it. I've never noticed it in a pizza place or the supermarket, but then, I am the dictionary definition of scatterbrained. I'll have to keep an eye out next time I'm out. In other words, I'll get back to you in about a month (maybe two).

So you only have the one kind of bacon as an option then? The bacon you described is what we call Canadian bacon here, so it makes sense that you call it simply bacon there.

ok, well that is bacon here too, so we must just be weird since we give the name Canadian to something you dont even have.

I don't really know that we don't have it, I've just never seen it, that I can recall. But again, I pay as little attention to reality as possible.

Could be a Vermont/Montreal thing, I know we have it here but could never taste the difference between that and reg ham. Maybe they want to sound Sophisticated or Worldly!

Wiki has useful things for about 99.9% of all things. I so wish I could use them as a source for papers.

I was having a discussion a while back about Wikipedia with someone I know. We ended up agreeing that Wikipedia's greatest strength is anyone can edit it, and that Wikipedia's greatest weakness is anyone can edit it.
