Thank you very much...and sorry for not explaining very clear...i was talking about single player.i dont play online.but i think i remebered.u play a single player toon,u find an item after that u export ur toon and start a multiplayer game on cooperative.there u put the item on the ground save the game pick it up and quit without save or export.in multiplayer the toon is exported by default.after that u start a new toon in single player export it and then load the multiplayer save on cooperative that u made it first.normaly the item should be on the ground.there u have it

Wolfe moved a lot of the information we used to have around here to her website. The link for it is near the top of the forum main page, but right now the host of the site has her site down for maintenance. I remember what you are talking about though, so I would think it to be there.
I am having trouble remembering how to do what you want though, but I think I never really used it was why. I did use other methods that I may be able to help with. The first I remember using would have been to simply copy my saved file for a character, and then if I have two accounts for the game I would give all the items from the character I wanted to copy things from over to that other one, then I could delete the saved game and replace it with the copy. When I go back in I would have all the items on that character and I could then get the other items back from the character I gave them too. If you do not have two accounts then you could have somebody hold them for you if you trust them.
Another option is one that uses a third party program to copy things outside of the game. If you want something like that then we would have to talk over personal messages here since things like that are not supported by Ascaron and they can shut the forum down for us doing so in the open.

Hello.I started to play Sacred again after a long break so i forgot some things.i recall the name of the site where i found some very usefull tips.and Wolfe's Lair is the one.and my problem is that here on this site in some old format i found a way to duplicate items via multiplayer.let's say first unique item "Hack".but now i don't remember how is done.i have the original copy of the game Sacred Gold edition.the original version was 2.4 i put the latest patch.and that is my problem...i only remember that had something to do with multiplayer...and on the old version of the site was a very good guide for that...sorry if is still on forum that i was unable to find it thank you all for any help that you will provide.

You can try to reinstall yes, but you may be out of luck. I found a thread with people saying they are not getting the game to work here. They are on the 64 bit version of Win7 though, so maybe it is more difficult for them than you. I have the 64 bit one here, so if you do there as well it could make things easier.
You can also make sure your video card drivers are up to date since they may not have been written for Win7, but Vista from where you upgraded.
Also make sure you have the newest patch for the version of UW you are using.
I cant remember off the top of my head, but if there is a windowed mode for UW to run in, you could try that as well.

I do not have Sacred installed anymore, but I have Sacred 2, and for me and Windows 7 I have to run the game in compatibility mode for it to work right, so maybe it is the same thing there. So if you have not tried that already then just right click on your main exe file for sacred, which I assume will be called Sacred.exe and then go to the properties and then the compatibility tab. Under that click the check box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and just let it be on Windows XP SP3. If that does not help then I can try installing the game here and seeing if I get a similar result.
I have just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. When I start Sacred Underworld the screen is smaller and squashed, how to I get it back to full screen? Sufferring from withdrawl so any help gratefully recieved!

Glad it worked, hopefully there will not be issues which affect you though. I never had any major issues importing myself from a really old version of the original into Plus and eventually UW, although small things would happen like items being gone, and stats changed, but my character did not change.
Re: upgrade from Plus to Underworld « Result #10 on Oct 12, 2009, 7:29am »
Thanks! I exported the character in Sacred Plus, manually copied it from the Scared Plus save folder into the Sacred Gold save folder, and everything worked fine. I know that the documentation for Sacred Gold says that importing characters from the original version can cause a lot of glitches, and suggests that you start a new character from scratch in the current version instead. I hope this isn't true...

It has been forever since I have done anything with the game, but I know I was able to bring a character over from Sacred without Plus into UW, but if I remember right you can not go the other way. If the import option is not working then just try to manually do it. Just find your saved character files from Sacred and copy-paste them into the UW saved areas. You could try and save something in UW first so that all of the folders will be set up for you by the game. The files you want to look for have the extension of pax, so you could have Windows search for that, or you can look for the entire name, which would be something like HeroXX.pax, where XX will be some number, but 00 will be the one used for your first saved character.
upgrade from Plus to Underworld « Result #12 on Oct 11, 2009, 9:58pm »
I bought the retail version of Sacred a few months ago and download the free PLUS expansion for it (the retail version I got was the jewel case in the white sleeve). I decided that I liked the game enough to get the expansion, but I couldn't find JUST the Underworld upgrade anywhere. I bought the retail DVD Sacred Gold, but it installs like it's a different game. I go to "import," and it won't give me the option of bringing in saves from my normal Sacred game. My question is: Can I import characters from the original Sacred/Sacred Plus into the Gold version of the game, or do I need to start new characters? Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Wolfe! Long time no...
And like The Bill said, "I feel your pain." Apartment living I couldn't do again. Well, I could, having had much practice at home (small house, big family) and college dorms. But I wouldn't go quietly!
As for the icky neighbor below, here's a tho't ----

Yes Wofle, yes you will, and you will like it because it is awesome, and then you will decide to read the books and they will consume your life, it is fun.
Baby wipes are indeed fun, I got to use them all the time in Kuwait and Iraq.
Just think though, with all of these fun adventures you are having, you are now one step further along for preparations for the inevitable zombie attacks.
ROFLOL!!! Now you sound like my brother-in-law
So WOW And I thought I had it bad!!! Constant small power surges in all my apartment's wiring that kills computers and burns out light bulbs way faster than they should, fridge that has had the defrost timer go 3 times in the last 6 yrs thus spoiling all the food in the fridge, never having actual paint over the primer on the walls making it impossible to clean them, etc, etc, etc. Ohhh AND really annoying neighbors in the apartment below mine!!!!
I have to agree though, the country is BEAUTIFUL and soooo serene! I've always wanted to live in the country!

I'm not sure what to think... firstly I haven't heard of the expansion being made for the console versions, which is the only version I am able to play at the moment and for the foreseeable future. But even if it IS released I'm not sure if I'll bother... I am sooooo disappointed with S2 that I'm not sure if even an expansion can save it!

Can anyone tell me what is wrong. at the moment im trying to see if there is someone i missed. See i opened up the interactive map in paint shop. everytime i found a NPC i would mark him and tally him. so idk i guess one must not have saved because i have 89 marks and 89 tallies. thanks to anyone that can help.
